I have been on this road several times and one time during the early spring melt off. The road was not bad and its actually well maintained. At the end of your video where you crossed the bridge on the right hand side there is a little road you can drive down and there are several free campsites there. I stayed a few nights and did some fishing one summer.
@@TravelBackroads If you have time follow the signs on Highway 31 north of Meadow Creek to Duncan Dam. There is a concrete boat launch and there are 5 lakefront campsites with pit-toilets found at Howser Recreation Site and no fees.
@@warriorprincess-yp2zx It's funny but I'd actually meant to go there but I'd missed the turn. By the time I realized I decided to just save it for the spring. Thanks for sharing your local knowledge!
Isn't bc beautiful not sure why I moved away but maybe I'll come back guess I was sick of the rain but the Kootenays that would be great to live I think anyways
It looked more like a shed. It reminded me almost of the detached garages you would often see next to war time era houses. It was better built than a shed really. Maybe it was an old pump house or something? At first I thought it was just a roof of something that had collapsed but it actually had walls. I think the roadbed has been raised up so much right there a lot of it's hidden until you get really close to it.
Love this one. I remember when all roads were like this and nature was respected.
Thank you so much. This helps in the areas without Google maps. Appreciate the high resolution.
Thank you for watching Klay. I'm glad you found it helpful.

Speed kills so they shouldn't go faster you drive for conditions not familiarity
