According to Imam Al-Ghazali, writing in his Mukhashfa al-Qulub, Umar ibn Al-Khattab (ra) was asked why the day of ’Ashura was considered so noble. Umar (ra) listed a few events which had taken place on ’Ashura, including: Allah created the skies and earth on this day, along with the Preserved Tablet. Allah created Angel Jibril (as). Allah created Adam (as), as well as Hawwa (as). Allah created Jannah. Allah enabled Adam (as) to live in Jannah. The first rain to fall on earth was on ’Ashura. Therefore, since before the beginning of human history, ’Ashura has been filled with significant events.

Truly sad events that occurred to the family of the Prophet ﷺ, may Allah guide the people who use this tragedy to beat themselves up, their actions have no basis in Islam.
You celebrate Eid because prophet Ismail was nearly killed. Yet you expect Muslims not to cry for the family of the Prophet who were butchered by so called Muslims. What happened after the death of the Prophet that his holy family his alyl bait were matyred. Hussain as taught us that death is just a means to get closer to Allah. He revived the religion of His Holy Grandfather. He exposed the corruption, and gave his head for the sake of pleasing Allah. It is not 2 Muslim enemies fighting each other, it is haq vs bathel, the rightous vs the cursed.
@@ghul8158 Of course muslims are upset at what happened, the ahlulbayt were killed and those who survived were treated with disrespect. The difference is we don't beat ourselves up, show me where in the Quran and sunnah it says to inflict damage upon yourself. If you say you love ahlulbayt follow islam, not whatever innovated twisted rituals the shia do.

@@ghul8158 our celebration of Eid is from the prophet, whilst yours is a innovation. The fitnah among the Muslims back then have Allah to judge among them as he is the best of judges. Worry about yourselves and what you follow because innovation in the religion will only stray you from the deen. Wa billahi tawfiq

“Whoever washes his head on the day of Jumu’ah, and takes a bath and arrives in time, and he walks and he does not ride, and he draws close to the imaam, and he listens and he does not speak. Then for every step which he takes, there will be for him the reward of a year: the reward of fasting it and standing in Prayer.”
Shaikh al-Albaanee said this hadeeth is (saheeh)

It is only a moment... then these difficulties come to an end; be patient with them. Be patient restraining your soul from its desires; be patient upon the obligations Allāh سبحانه و تعالى has commanded you with. Be patient with the calamities that befall which are either from yourself or (calamities) from Allāh the Exalted, or from the people. Be patient until you reach the abode of relaxation.
{And Allaah knows while you know not}
The delays in your life are there for a purpose and behind them is Divine Wisdom which only Allaah knows. So surrender your affairs to Allaah and trust Him, and don’t be disheartened nor lose hope.
Behind every patience there is a beautiful affair, and know that what has passed you by [and you have failed to attain] was not going to befall you, and what has befallen you was not going to pass you by. And know that victory comes with patience, and affliction is followed by relief, and hardship is followed by ease.
Two things to remember in life. Take care of your thoughts when you are alone. Take care of your words when you are in the crowd.

2 - whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi 'l-`adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme)
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One " [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:67]
3. La Hawla wa la Quwatta illa Billah (There is no Might or Power except with Allah)
[the above is] a treasure from the treasures of Paradise.[Sahih al-Bukhari; al-Fath al-Bari #11:213]

Speaking of family members, Ashura is the day the Prophets beloved grandchild, Hussein and his family, the prophets own flesh and blood, was martyred on the planes of Karbala...why no mention of this?

Allah's Messenger (S) said: "The most virtuous fasting after the month of Ramadan is that of Allah's month of Al-Muharram. And the most virtuous Salat after the obligatory is the night prayer."

Do you use a.s. or r.a. After you say hawwa? I thought as was only used for prophets and ra for companions and godly women, or is she an exeption? Cant find it online

1. 2 last ayahs of surah baqara

3.Surah mulk (protects you from punishment of grave)
4.surah ikhlas,falaq,Nas plus ayatul kursi

I got it from a book called حسن المسلم husn al muslim. I don't have the direct translation of the meaning حسن المسلم but it's like good character of a Muslim. Number 110 which says "يقرأ (الٓمٓ تنزيل السجدة، وتبارك الذي بيده الملك) and the source is Al-Tirmidhi, and Al-Nisaa'i in عمل اليوم والليلة, and Sahih Al-Jame' صحيح الجامع (255/4)

Al-Tirmidhi (2892) narrated from Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not sleep until he had recited “Alif‑Laam‑Meem. The revelation…” [al-Sajdah 32] and “Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion…” [al- Mulk 67] Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi

The Day of Ashura is about the sacrifice that Imam Hussain A.S. and his blessed family and friends gave to keep Islam alive. This is the family of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
