I love this piece, especially the Idylle. The Idylle seems to start as a lovely, melodious expression of peace and contentment, gentle and soothing. The music inspires thoughts of quiet gardens and rivers. Then, at 3:15 or so, it changes subtly and injects a note of longing into the lovely themes. Your performance is so refined that it feels like an almost abstract longing, without a specific object. Your gorgeous playing captures both themes so well; you bring both the contentment and the longing to vivid life. So lovely that when I ran across this late, I stayed up to listen repeatedly. Thank you. 🤩😍
It's the "belle epoque" in Paris so evocative... I love the ambiance you generate with these pieces such depth of tone and romanticism... (I will be trying out Goddard this weekend)

im new to this channel cause i love listening to classical music and for the record, thought of watching a flute version of caprice 24. i've seen lot of version of it in different instruments when i noticed a comment in a facebook page. that person said that he is trying to do it on flute but discourage because of breathing techniques and thats when i search caprice no. 24 on flute and i saw your version first and i am impressed especially on the part that on the original piece used to pick the notes. you did it just what it sounds like in picking the string. impressive. im now starting to love your channel 😁😁 im no musician but i hope one day i could play flute 😅😀
Amo a Jasmine pero todo el tiempo en esta obra falta interpretación, solo toca lo escrito, y esta todo el tiempo fuera de tempo, por momento es muy obvio que el pianista se reacomoda, es constante me llamo mucho la atención. LA MEJOR VERSION LEJOS DE ESTA SUITE, RICARDO PARRUCCI, recomiendo. Comentarios para conocedores.
