Truck drivers have too many partners to ever make it profitable. insurance company finance company brokers Authority holder DOT state tax federal tax repair shops truck stops parts suppliers mechanics towers tire companies shipper receiver fast food industry convenience stores rigging suppliers Medical providers (it will make you unhealthy) etc. The list is endless and you're the last guy on that list. Why the hell you think you gotta run non-stop to make a small buck?

It's funny 3 days ago in Kentucky they gave me a level 1 inspection and they took me out of service for having temporary Texas license plates with a new truck and a new trailer.

FYI, that didn’t look like 100% DOT conspicuity tape across the rear. Rear must be full width with tape….it can be at different levels, but must equal out to full width.

They've never checked my break away...good thing because when I checked my battery on my 2 year old trailer one of the wires had come loose! I keep my trailer doc's in my folder. I realize it's different for your situation because sometimes you have to swap up trailers / loads between drivers. If you are a typical hot shot I would keep it all in the folder so the officer doesn't have to go looking for it. Great video...hope to see more like this!

I had the same thing coming back into the US at Plentywood Montana from Canada. But not in Texas yet.
Mostly in Texas they like the farm trucks and hang around the sale barns.
