Me too. This game has been frustrating AF to play coming from Tekken 5 and 7. However I've seen some higher level matches in general, and realized you just gotta make it past the casuals and console scrubs to get to the more experienced players. So, I'll start my punishment training back up and play again. Nikos has provided a lot of inspiration too.
Finally planted my feet in Shinryu thanks to your vid (used to be in demotion-ville before). It’s fun overwhelming my opponents and they dont know what to do. Other times they disrespect me still by mashing buttons. Heres to more improvement by watching you play. Cheers!

I know Xaoyu has really fast lows but isn't she minus after that roll kick move? Its i15 so if she is minus 6 or 7 there is a good chance it'll hit unless she has crazy i10 move i dont know about (i have played a few of them but im going mostly from memory from Tekken 7) she might can AOP for free in backturn so she might get out the way since its linear depending on the day sometimes. I don't know just something i want to see if its possible, she might turn around too quick to get a full punish but B4 is like plus 8 on hit. If the timing needs to be tight then you might give up your turn if they can block after since its like Minus 8 right? Sorry ill get back to watching now 😅
@@Floridamangaming729 yeah he is but since lars got buffed from 7 and his mixup game is stronger, I still haven't seen a lot of lars players play like this guy. The ones I've come across don't make use of the stances as well as he does. This guy is super onto it and I wish I was like him

You think you could either do a video or just give me some tips for dealing with reina cuz she just feels like such horseshit im bushi and 99% of reinas i fight or undoubtly the worst players mechanically they always no have no defense and barely any movement but their pressure is alway a mix of 50/50 with guarenteed follows ups so every time you guess wrong it 50+ damage and she always feels plus and the times it feels likr when you guess right and duck the low high its fast enough so the best you get while rising 2 which isnt good if you go into silent and they can just instant ff 2 if you go to dynamic.

Isnt that hows he’s supposed to be played though? This is my first Tekken so im not too sure about the archetypes. I constantly use my stances too.
