    Don’t change a thing, it’s slick as all get out. Awesome solution. Thanks for sharing.

    Very cool. I like what you’ve done with the grain silo section. You asked one or two silos and I vote for one large one on the left as I viewed it. Of course it’s your railroad so if you like two better that’s the way you should go. Either way looks great. Enjoyed your update and looking forward to the next one. Enjoy!

      Cheers Dwight, I’m really happy with how it’s turned out so far. One thing I have learned is that most areas will get a tweak once I run them for a bit.

      Ness River Railroad that’s so true. That’s what makes model railroading so fun. Enjoy the journey my friend and thanks for sharing.

    Wow David, lots of new stuff to appreciate! Thanks for the update. Seems like all the changes/improvements you have made to both those industrial areas are going to be worth the effort in improved functionality and operating ease. I'm really glad to see your having the time to make both progress on the layout and the videos to share with us. Take care and keep up the good work. Art...

      Thanks Art,
      As I said in the video I decided I should get more of what I’ve built so far sorted so I don’t end up with a layout room full of plain timber and track. Looking at it now I think the trees in the gravel area need to be a bit shorter which is easily done with my trees.

    I had seen a waterside photo somewhere of a long set of silos down the middle of a oval track. In that one they used a Trackmobile to push the cars around. The curve radii was much tighter than you have. There is a complex you can search for called Geelong with the same loop facility for grain and I think they have the same setup for cement.. There was a facility one called Billings. Pacific Rail Systems has a diagram showing theirs is 8500 feet long and shows where the grain loading crew takes over.

    Great update mate, that grain facility looks good, adds something different for an opps session, the scenery around the gravel industry came out great, thanks for sharing, Reid 👍
    P.S. never noticed your stylish outfit till you mentioned it 😀

    The grain loop is a brilliant solution! (It does remind me a bit of the old American Flyer tail-chaser layouts of my youth.) Operation will tell you if it should be one or two silos. That'll come in time. BTW, how does one score an Auscision ruler?

      @nessriverrailroad1299  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, I did also think of the old oval on the living room floor days of my childhood 😆 I’ve bought a few things through australianmodeller.com.au and they put a ruler and a few cool brochures in the pack. I did see your previous comment, I uploaded this video before with the wrong edit so I took it down and put this one up.
