I grew up in the 2000s watching cardcaptor Sakura, sailor moon, shugo chara, Tokyo mew mew, yumeirro patissiere, and many other shoujo anime. The manga section in our bookstores has gone from very little, to now entire sections. It was hard growing up as an Asian in a country where only five percent of the population is Asian, but now Asian culture is being more appreciated ❤ I’m so happy and thankful for these shows that helped me grow up!
