I just found your channel, if this was my job and I saw you doing all the weld pounding, no thank you, I would move up a drill bit size or two and no need to pound much at all, way too much work and way too much bending and actual damage based on that pry bar instead of a flat weld separator/cutter tool. I will go look at the next video about this job and see how you fill back in the holes. I do not mind when guys drill all the way through even if that is not the norm. Thanks for the lesson.

The deconstruction of a body panel on any vehicle can look very destructive at times while prepping. The skins are 18ga steel, very flimsy by themselves and will bend with just your fingers. I could have gone with a bigger drill bit, but that would cause larger holes to fill and run the risk of too much heat on the panels when welding back in. I have a 88 Ford Bronco project coming in after this truck and it has a tone of bodywork, inside and out. I am looking at different body tools to complete that project. I want to try different techniques and see what works better then another. Stick around, I do not hide anything from anyone and will let you know what worked or caused more damage. I appreciate your comment and opinion.
