I've seen Trick Totems do way worse things than an unexpected Tome Tampering, honestly. I'd probably be grateful if that was the worst thing one ever did to me. I once had it Plague of Flames my full board vs. a control Warrior with like, an Onyxian Drake or something like that on board. I only had one card in hand. I would have absolutely taken a Tome Tampering there.
Ah, imps. I remember using Mad Summoner around the time of Galakron to fill the board, and then Curse of Weakness to board lock them. 50% of the time, it worked every time.

For other matchups, I was often forced to use curses too early, and then used imp-ferno to improvise. Hah, imp-rovise. Aaah, I slay me.
Me realizing I was the priest at 21:00 😂 same card skin, hero portrait, and I remember the game where I got wrecked by imps and had drawn all my spells in to the mulligan, and the desperate double raise dead almost killing me before conceding because I couldn’t believe my luck, ggs roffle 👍🏽
I just realized. If you’re a Lich, your usually an undead necromancer, right? Usually with an ice motif too. Why does Dread Lich Tamsin summon imps and not 3/3 skeletons or something?
Well she was a Warlock first and foremost. She was apparently taught by Kel’Thuzad how to be a Lich but it seems she only used that power to be alive again (In her “wow” emote she mentions that she’s seen death twice) but to be a necromancer you kind of people to die so to do that she must use the powers that are familiar to her (i.e demon summoning) Though it’s seems she didn’t have much of a body count before she was killed once again.
I think the discrepancy here is that liches are made VIA necromancy, usually of their own, but that's not always the case. A lich is just a zombie that retains the sapience it had while it was alive.
I was so happy to see his misplay vs that demon hunter at the end. It was a calculated risk but he left potential lethal on board. Makes me feel better about all my own constant misplays and screw ups seeing roffle mess up once in a while too
There's a special spot of hatred for this deck in my heart... Not because the deck is too strong, but because I tried to ask a Discord chat what I'm supposed to do about it while playing a specific deck in Standard and the answer I got was so smarmy I just straight up left the Discord. I really can't stand people who think that stuff along the lines of "git gud kekw" is a reasonable response to someone asking questions about how to navigate a new meta. That just shows you don't actually understand the game as well as you think you do, if you can't or won't explain it to someone else. That's what I like about Roffle - when people ask genuine questions he answers with cohesive explanations and saves the smartass answers for people asking him why he's not running a 4 mana card in an Odd deck. It's always fair to be a smartass to those people.
Sadly thats what most internet communities have become, and thats why i loved Firebat streams the most, he used to explain why a deck was good and how to try to counter it.

Last time I checked hobbies were supposed to be fun for everyone, and not people taking a dump all over how other people choose to play the game. The other reason I like Roffle is because I also want to play incredibly memey decks, and that's another point of contention for people - that my personal opinion of what looks fun is more important to me than what's meta, but because I'm not Brian freaking Kibler my opinion that Renathal decks are clearly viable and in some situations very good isn't valid? Cool.
@@chuckles471 this is terrible. If either of players commit to roping each turn, suddenly this isn't a fun game in the slightest. Emotions caused by results of the game scale unbelievably. Now whoever loses feels 10 times as bad because he committed his time to losing this. But whoever wins doesn't even feel that good, he actually feels bad too, because in time he spent winning one game with already good deck, he could've won 2. It's a blessing they usually don't commit to roping
I here people complaining a lot of how toxic certain archetypes and decks are but for me honestly, nothing makes me want to uninstall more than a roper…….
Warlock players sound like fish outta the water trying to justify a 4 mana for 9/9 of stats on turn 4. Imp king very skillful and nuanced card as well. glad they resolved the powercreep issue this expansion

Cause she's not a necromancer, she's a warlock. She got raised from the dead but that doesn't automatically give her the power to use necromancy.
