Hi again, my beolink 7000 has a no contact issue also no volume display or cd track display on the top of the remote. I've read its the caps. Could you shed some light on this. Regards mike
Hi Mike, thanks for dropping a comment, yes I believe the caps are common issues on the 7000, I do intend to do mine one day when I get time and do a video. I just have a lot going on personally at this time. Thanks,
Maybe. I'll start recording the BL7000 repair soon. it will be fixing 2 way, replacing the backlight maybe, caps and your new metal panel! I might need to ask your advice when I get into it, I'll see how I get on!
As far as I know the noise is caused by the transformer for the screen, and most if not all 7000´s have this noise. I do wonder if it made this from new and the noise has become pronounced with age due to failing or softening of isolation or glue.
@@TheRetroBristolian Hi. is it still possible to buy new metal panels? My has a little bump in one corner so thats why im asking :) i have recaped it and the batteries changed and i also replaced the dim EL Backlight so its working great but i would love a new panel if possible.
