thanks Justin, pulled the car out of attic and couldn't remember how to reset failsafe, just viewed your "Spektrum hidden failsafe" tried it on my radio and yes it now has failsafe, thanks for taking the time to remind an old fart the set up procedure,
I gotta try this, I have a pretty old Spektrum DX3R that I paid $400 for back in like 06 or 07, I forget. I used it a few times, put it back in the box and lost interest in RC's until now. I forgot I even had it and it still works great. People keep telling me it's too old to use, I don't see why. It's 2.4ghz just like all the ones made today. I haven't had a problem with it yet.
Nice! Thanks a lot. I got the manual of my dx2s but english isnt my first language tried everything for 2 hours.. with ur explaination it took me 5 minutes.. thank you!
Yes Justin thanks for info, for others it works with a sr315 spectrum reciver ( non bind plug) . And also using aux channel for a useless dynamite safety that only works as kill swtch . Followed your procedure using sr315 and my dx5c worked like champ thanks.
I think if it is an electric car and one uses this procedure, it will go full throttle on reverse, so I think one should let the throttle on neutral when binding an electric car?
It is on all Rc this is why speed runs are risky because if you’re trimming slightly left or right when binding and then lose signal you’re pride and joy hits a Kurb
Read Justin's viewers' comments. What I left basically it works on sr15 rec and yes and dx5c. I run 5th scale gas. Great news for me out of hobby 20 + yrs .

They should put it in the setup manual.I mainly fly airplanes so I knew about it from the very beginning.
Very helpful thank you!

Is that done on electric rc vehicles also?
If not how does fail safe work on electricrc rc vehicles?
Thank you

Thanks for the reply and info. It's much appreciated!
does this failsafe activate when you loose RX battery ?
No. Technically your Rx is what’s doing the failsafe.
