I cant get enough of jaris amazing stuff the first ensiferum albums, wintersun, immemorial or even arthemesia where he played for a short time its soo great he is my absolutly favourite musician :)
Lets go! where is the light that disappeared long time ago? where is the time that could have turned us into stone? where are the dreams i searched, the dreams of tomorrow? where are the tears now, the tears of sorrow? when the rain ends she cries, and i will be there for her when the rain falls she smiles, and i will walk away with her 2x Have you ever lost the rain in our loneliness and feeling of despair you have to take a rise tomorrow together we shall walk away from this sorrow yesterday gone again 2x
To all the people wondering when he made this, Immemorial was a band that Jari and Oliver Fokin (who took over Drums in Ensiferum from Kimmo Miettinen in 1998) played around with before Jari joined Ensiferum in 1996. No "official" recording exists of these songs, IE, they were never released on an album, they are all raw "demo's". This is also when Jari wrote "Sadness and hate", which was first released on the Wintersun album.
Guess what, this particular song is part of the pre-order for Time II. You have a little less than two months left to buy the digital package, which contains 56 demos of early Wintersun material. I think it's somewhat remastered aswell.
hey there is a 5 song demo of Jari's Immemorial demo the songs are A Chance to Live Again Fading Miracles Fly Into The Sky Sadness And Hate and this song When the rain ends. Jari kinda renamed Immemorial Wintersun so im kinda sure he won't make any more songs under this band name.
@DreamtosS lol... ensiferum was formed in 1995, jari join that band in 1996 and leave it in 2004 because touring schedule with ensiferum was at the same time of the recording of wintersun
@lIRainingScreamsIl No official lyrics exists for the Immemorial recordings (other than Sadness and Hate from the Wintersun album). You'll either have to write them down by ear, or ask Jari, hehe :)
I'm going to create hundreds of accounts just to give you endless amounts of thumb ups..This by far has been one of the best questions I have ever come across in my life. Count me in!
*jaw drops* This Is AMAZING... Jari Mäenpää is the only being worth worshiping. People, convert to Mäenpääiism, the truth, where our temples are snowy Finnish landscapes and the theaters where Jari tours, where we are graced by his awesome presence.
@ThePeachninja Sounds fairly accurate that :) A few words that im unsure about (i think he says "love" rather than "light", etc).. but thats just nitpicking :)
Hey, can anyone hear that this intro riff is the same as in Heathen Throne on From Afar :) Man i Love Ensiferum but it really seems that they ''borrowed'' the riff

welp not really xD there are guys (in metal for example) who are great but none can compare to this tall german woman-like lookin dude who cant create anything band.
I agree, I think Jari is one of a kind. But there are new bands coming out with new great music. For example, Hyperion released a godlike death/black/melodic album in 2016. Best new album I've heard in a long time. Check it out if you want. It's called "Seraphical Euphony".
Hyperion is definitely great; I even bought on of their shirts. I still can't find anything that matches Jari's style though. It has more emotion than anything I can find!
Thank you so much for giving us this and other Masterpieces of Jari!! You fed my ears so many years, now we have a remastered version

This Immemorial material is really good. Jari should re-record all this shit
Agreed! It's amazing shit.
Agreed
agreed 100 percent fuck
Being remastered and released with Time II 😊
@@tsogunegaming8798Only Oliver Fokin’s songs or songs he worked on won’t be released. Jari’s songs will be released.

Thank you so much I was looking for this...
I can definitely see his transition from Ensiferum to Wintersun after hearing this.
It was before Ensiferum. But yes, here it's his own style and not influenced by Viking/folk metal.
@@Lightnings sounds a lot like ensiferums first album to me

This is the pedigree Jari Maenpaa bears. But one thing though...his clean vocals have improved a hell lot in Wintersun. Here he struggles.

he has released basically nothing the last 10 years ffs.
@@Lightnings Forest seasons are better than vast majority of music and are mixed perfectly. He also played Storm and Fire from Time II live.

Jari Maenpaa is the only god I haven't lost faith in, even after making me wait 7 years for a new album.

What's the only thing better than Zelda??? EVERYTHING JARI MAENPAA DOES!!!!!!!!!!!!
@MetalAnonym0us You can't. It was never released buy any label. It was just a Demo for his side project Wintersun :)
all songs can be downloaded in a link in my profile.
Reading description helps sometimes..
Jari Mäenpää rules!
@berniethegodofmetal information still true..it was before wintersun, i mean jari projects, jari wasnt leader of ensiferum
@xChaud lol i think he wants to be legit and actually buy the stuff when it . he must really love jari. JARRRIII!!! ARRRGHHHh!!!

Dude, that so made my day! I am a Mäenpäänist from this moment!
yeah that question is more easy :D
Great song, but where can I find (buy or download) a whole album?
@melodeathforeverx3 All of us.
The Tabs please
Both.
Where is the love that desapears long time ago
@markusbanda Nahh man!!! Alexi is still great :P Jari just is in a whole other dimension than alexi. JARI MAENPAA IS GOD
Shit, this and Wintersun are superior to Ensiferum in my opinion. !!!!!
Ensiferum after 2007 sucks, but before its still great. Never forget

LOOL ahahaha xD
is jari singing or guitar? or both?
everything - it was one man project
Notice I've specified ''in my opinion''.
hmm, no dislike 0.o.... of course there is no fucking dislike

Re-recording the whole demo would be cool, maybe for a Time Limited Edition Bonus Track CD or some shit?? =)
Guess why? Jari is 16 in this recording :D
Pretty sure he's older than 16 as this must have been in 1993 according to you. He left Immemorial in 1996
No he was 18
He was 16 when he wrote and recorded Sadness and Hate
bass drum is kinda loud!
@melodeathforeverx3 ME!
it was never a CD. send me your email in a message and ill send the songs to you.
Well it took God 7 days to create Earth so logical consequence is that it takes Jari 7 years to do Time album..
i hope alexi never hears that solo, he might try to kill himself again!!! JARI RULES!!!!
That's rude and there's no reason to hate dude
I never even listened to COB, but still, please respect other people
Jari is king indeed.
you mad?
nope he just recoreded everything exept drums
lol no
for fuck's sake no.
