Yes, what's referred to in this specifically are things like trailing smoke, drag, aileron vapor, etc. In other words, the kind of stuff that doesn't *feel* right unless you can see an atmosphere. Star Wars is fantasy, and it always chooses to show what looks right rather than what is right, but there's a level of disconnect to be considered. Explosions make sense to the viewer and can totally happen in deep space, (even in real life) but seeing atmospherics without atmosphere would feel off, having a planet in the background though makes us sort of expect it however, whether it makes logical sense or not, it's *aesthetically* justified and that's all you need in a fairy-tail space opera battle. Cheers!
Hello there. The yellow letters at the bottom of the screen most likely identify which scene or special effect shot it is. The ones at the top of the screen at 0:14 are most likely the file name and date for the digital shot.
1:15 Ewan looks like he is having so much fun in this clip
NEVER STOP UPLOADING THESE BEHIND THE SCENE STUFF!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!
Great! I was always willing to see interview of John Knoll about Coruscant battle. It was on the blu-ray so I'm glad i found it!
3:26 I'm pretty sure he meant to say "Emperor Palpatine surgical reconstruction center".
Awesome video
Thanks for uploading
John Knoll is such a VFX legend
They didn't hide Johns cameo very well, I've seen enough documentaries that I noticed him seeing this in the theater.
They made the Eta-2 too damn small.
can’t believe there was a 5 hour version of revenge of the sith
2 hours and 30 minutes
@@risitasfrance9020 there was an uncut version by Lucas and had the opening scene of coruscant for 2 hours but the cut isn’t online
@@andrewattenboroughtwothumb4697 5 hours of movie would take more than 1 year to turn
@@risitasfrance9020 they cut 3 hours of footage out of the movie and some scenes
eta 2 actis my favourite ship in all of star wars, the corruscant battle is just legendary
But weren't there space explosions in the original and sequel trilogies as well as Clone Wars and Rebels where there were explosions in space too?

0:39 iconic "Lucas laugh"
0:36 Screwing up a line is such a funny thing to happen on set! 🤣
Word 👍
1:52 I wonder why they decided to make the opera scene 100% CGI. Even chairs are just blue mocks that had to be recreated in CG.
What do the letters on the footage mean at 0:11 ?

Is there any OT content?
+Motion Burst Gaming Sure is.
In Episode 2, Yoda's robe is cream, while in episode 3, Yoda's robe is khaki.
George Lucas added so many shots with CGI that when I see Yoda I see a CGI !
