He was like 3. So freaking cute. Cracked me up when he was up in attic looking like a Chucky Doll then did the free dive onto his dad...lol! My heart was hurting at the flash back when he was alive, the puppy dog sad face, saying "no fair" and then dying...again. 😭😭😭That really got to me. I hate to see little ones hurt or sad even if just a movie. Oh, when he fell backwards and hit his head FOR REALS on the fake house wall was crazy. The camera quickly cut...I wonder if he cried or everyone ran to help him. Anyway such a cute kid and now a nice man.
I was born roughly 1 and 1/2 years before Miko hughes, and I have only seen him in kindergarten cop, Apollo 13, and in mercury rising. Never knew he played such a evil creepy character so young.
The worst part of Pet Cemetery is when he cuts through that guys Achilles heel. Thanks for the end. I kept wondering if he was the same actor from Kindergarten Cop. Didn't remember him being in so much stuff. Awesome interview! Keep up the good work!
What a laid back chilled and cool dude. He looked so iconic in all of these movies back in the 90s, i would not have him recognized nowadays. On the other hand: He is as old as me and i look totally different as well.
The fact he was like 2 and he could deliver his lines in a creepy af way and do that creepy laugh is insane, it’s crazy that he could take direction like that
Miko seems like a really cool guy. We are around the same age...he is about a year and a half older than I am, but I remember as a kid watching Kindergarten Cop, Full House, Zeus and Roxanne, and of course Pet Sematary...Gage Creed scared the crap out of me, but I was always sad to see him die....that tractor trailer scene....especially now that I am a new dad the thoughts of that scene make me cringe and cry...His little shoe....glad it wasn’t real and he grew up to be a cool young man. Props to Miko for surviving Hollywood and doing good things.

I just watched the new one finally and the original is so much better. Thanks for watching and giving us a chance its extremely hard to get noticed on TH-cam.
Just saw the new movie. I was super excited as it's one of my favourite Stephen King books, and I grew up with the original but it does have aged a bit so I was looking forward to a new version. I left pretty underwhelmed. It was ok, but I was hoping for more, and the 3rd act is not "batsh*t crazy, how did the studio allow that" as I read many times, it's pretty weak in my opinion. The acting is better overall but that's it. The cat was freakier and nastier in the original. The burial ground was massive with the overhead shot in the OG, here it feels like a poorly dressed set in the corner of a soundstage. I could get behind the "big twist" seen in the trailer as it gives the returned Ellie a couple interesting scenes but ultimately I feel the change made the story less poignant and horrifying. Yes, they used a puppet for some shots in 1989, but they also had Miko Hughes playing Gage do some pretty horrifying stuff (when he bites Jud's throat for instance), and nothing in this new version comes close. The new ending didn't work for me. That said, the ending of the book is one of the best ever (that last paragraph still gives me chills), but impossible to replicate on film, as nothing will beat how your imagination interprets it. The OG did try but the new ending is way too off the mark. I really think they should have gone with Gage again, their excuse of not wanting to use a puppet is weird, surely 30 years later they could have had an extremely convincing animatronic/sfx mix. It was probably more a budget issue, or fear to offend, or more likely both. 6/10, not a bad movie but still a disappointment. The book remains the best version by far!
