Maggie Robertson AKA Orin the Red, Aliona Baranova AKA Corinna
Baldur's Gate 3 is a 2023 role-playing video game developed and published by Belgian game developer Larian Studios. The game is the third main installment in the Baldur's Gate series, based on the tabletop fantasy role-playing system of Dungeons & Dragons. A partial version of the game was released in early access format for macOS and Windows in October 2020. It remained in early access until its full release for Windows in August 2023, with versions for PlayStation 5, macOS, and Xbox Series X/S releasing later that year.
Baldur's Gate 3 received critical acclaim, with praise for its gameplay, narrative, and production quality. It won several Game of the Year awards, including from the Golden Joystick Awards, The Game Awards,the D.I.C.E. Awards, and the Game Developers Choice Awards.

Yea definitely, I kind of wish that Larian would do not BG4 but another game in DnD lore just set somewhere else in Faerun and called it something else. But with Wizards now being owned by Hasbros, the corporate capitalist greed is already starting to affect Wizards reputation, so we will probably never get something as good as BG3 is.

I still hope Larian will adapt atleast campaign 1 of Critical Role into a Baldur's Gate 3 type game.
Really a bummer Larian decided not to make a DLC, but considering WoTC firing everybody that greenlighted and worked with Larian can see why

I'm ok that Larian is dropping BG but I will miss the actors and hope they appear in future games. Careerwise I'm sure they'll do just fine. I don't believe another studio will do a better job of BG4, they won't take the risks Larian did and it will be dumbed down with "multilayered revenue opportunities"

Disappointing news that Larian won’t be doing a Bg4🥲🥲 These characters really grew on me especially Astarion 😂Whoever picks up the next Bg4 title I hope it still lives up to its name❤️ This was a great panel

If I vote any company to try a Baldurs Gate 4, it would have to be Obsidian. I loved the Pillars of Eternity games and they did an awesome job with Fallout New Vegas as well.

Just keep in mind, there's nothing stopping Larian making Divinity Original Sin 3 and having every single one of these actors playing all new characters, and that would still have all the awesome writing Larian was known for well before BG3.

Surely the actors should have known by this time that BG4 isn't going to happen? This meet is not even a couple of weeks old and Swen said it was something they decided last year, so really confused about their enthusiasm for BG4 here...
Surely Larian should have told them by now that there won't be any new contracts made and that the original plans for a BG4 was canceled several months ago?

That looked like a LOT of fun. Never been to a comicon or games convention - actually - Lie - I represented Virgin at a Games Con in about 1992ish... but nothing since. Got some money coming soon.... Think I might start doing the convention circuit.... better than buying a Ferarri... [EDIT] - just remembered I went to a London Comicon in 1991, met Garth Ennis, and had lunch with his wife / GF.... So - yeah, I lied... but it was all 30 years ago, and I'd forgotten... damn I'm old.... But - one game con, one comic con - both very early 90's.

Astarion or Lady D? That's not a fair question. At what power level are they fighting? Is Astarion ascended and have access to the weapons of Resident Evil protagonists? Would Lady D get levels in a D&D class?

Really wanted to watch this but could not make it past the host's screaming and the awful sound quality. You don't have to scream into a microphone.
I totally understand what you’re saying. It does get better after they introduce everyone, but it’s a lot in the beginning. I get it. The audio before hand was so bad. It was almost unusable.
Baldru's gate 4 is not going ot happen from Larian studios.
