Still have the T69 since tier 8 wasn’t that enjoyable for me. Before the tier 8 medium AP pen adjustment it had 171mm which is ironically worse than the 175mm pen you got from the stock gun from the old T71. It just feels very power creeped compared to other tech tree tanks, let alone premium
Quickybaby, How would you feel if they made it so that once a tank was "elited" (fully unlocked), then you could transfer crews in and out like a premium tank? (I feel it would incentivize people to keep the tank, even though they have moved their crew up to the next tier, and they could always bring the crew back down the tech tree to play their lower tier tank later on, especially for tier 8, where there is such an influx of premium tanks compared to tech tree tanks.)
The JP2 is one of my all-time favorites, so it's really sad to see what time has done to it. Back when it was still a tech tree tank it had a whopping 246 standard pen, great DPM, very nicely armored superstructure and wonderful mobility. Think like a Sturer Emil but with good mobility and a slab of useful armor on top. Nothing has changed for the vehicle since then, except for the maps and enemies. Nowadays 246 pen is not enough to go through many heavies, while there is a plethora of other mobile tanks who offer a similar (premium) punch with fewer drawbacks. The perfectly angled superstructure with >245 effective armor used to set this beast apart but I can think of few tier VIII tanks whose premium ammo will get blocked by this. In combination with the current map state it has become increasingly hard to effectively use any ridge line with 6.5° of gun depression and even if you do, you will likely need to relocate soon after to a less advantageous spot given the faster gameplay. I'm sad to let it collect dust these days but any time I take it out onto the battlefield it is just too hard to find or get into the right locations and I ultimately perform worse in it than the alternatives. The ShPTK performs far better in every aspect but armor and the ISU152 feels nicer when I want more alpha. In the end the JP2 is a flexible TD in a time when there are so many better options when flexibility is needed.
i think the JP2 is still competitive, one of the best TD-s in at least German line. Pen is just fine, gun is good, mobility is good, armor is good. it is just not played seriously any more, thus the bad win rate. only thing is, than even though eq.2 and field mods are good for JP2, it looses more due to others having them too:) all the different setups against it drag it down a bit, i would say (CVS for example).
@@moose8337 The point is not that it's hard to use 246 pen but that there are a lot more tanks at tier VIII and IX that are able to bounce those shells reliably or at least semi-reliably, so it doesn't feel as overwhelmingly good as in the past. The ISU152 still works in a lot of the cases that the JP2 doesn't anymore.
@@moose8337 E-75, Vz 51, IS-3-II, VK4502B or if you prefer tier VIII there is the VK100.01P, TS-5, T28. And that is only the tip of the iceberg with good hull armor. When talking about hull-down ore sidescraping scenarios there are dozens more at tier VIII and above that can easily deal with 246 pen.

JPZ2 can get 463m view range with regular coated optics, food, recon, situational. Before equipment 2.0, vents, optics, food, crew skills can get above 445m as well.
As someone who had a ferdinand way back when the JpanthII was introduced, I was incredibly jealous of it. A slick superstructure that could bounce surprising shots, mobility that left me in the dust several times over, and a higher fire rate. Ferdinand felt completely obsoleted when it came out, its armor only felt relevant when you matched below tier 8, and it still has all the weakspots a Tiger P does.
When i was grinding my Jagdpanzer E 100 and had to decide between the Ferdi and Jagdpanther 2 it was a no-brainer for me, i went with the Jagdpanther 2 and i loved it, i still play it today, i mean sure Ferdi has 200 mm of armor but it's flat and it's easily penetrated by almost every tier 8 tank.
Did WoT make HE weak for people complaining or to force gold rounds? I think they did the same thing when they made arty weak. Both of these acts essentially force free-to-play players to play over power tanks or not play at all.
@@Astrothunderkat I don't think you're right... In short arty require you to play smarter and as a team to win!!! "arty in general hurts the game" this is 100% opinion. when arty is weak, OP tanks (not OP players) can just sit and control choke points, making the game less balanced unless you use gold. "most arty players hurt their team" is not really true. (even with equalized) The problem is "one" arty usually did well and the other sucked. many times it was the fault of the "team" if atry did bad - but people would still blame the arty... more about this on the bottom. "t5-6 arty over performs" or any arty that performs well... I never felt like, I'm in an OP arty I can just take over! - it's what your "team" and the other "team" did, that made the arty work!!! If you have 3 OP arty/players and you did not spread, your team lost (arty can't control like that). really the only arty's that did not require the team to spread is fast short-range arty like the FV304 "Bert".
Another factor that can explain the JPanther 2's bad winrate is the fact that it got taken out of the tech tree and put into the Collector Tanks store. This means that lots of people are buying this tank without grinding the German TD tech tree first and because of that, they have no clue how to play a German TD
Same here buddy, I remember on common test they nerfed the autoloader to 6 shells and kept the same 34second reload on it, I was furious and then they dropped autoloader completely and i played like maybe 5 games and sold it, still to this day if i think of tier 7, bulldog comes up first and that was over 4,5 years ago, sad story
@@lukaslenghart671 I have not enjoyed light tanks as much since they bumped them up to tier 10. Probably still my favourite but it was just kind of special to be the best in a tank that was at least 2 tiers lower than the rest.
On top that, the German and Chinese premium Bulldogs have been buffed while the , meaning they're straight-up better versions. But the tech tree M41 goes untouched.
That AMX spotted you when he turned the turret. I remember WG saying that spotting mechanic also relies on turret direction, meaning it is better where your gun points.
Jagdpanther 2 was my first tier 8 back in the day. It was so good when hull-down, since gold rounds and high pen were rare. Still very mobile with a great gun, I think the crap winrate is undeserved
Whenever Quickbaby has the options of a Turbo or "LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE" i hear "Well on a map like this, clearly we are taking the Turbo". It cracks me up so much.
But I love my T69, it's just kind of shitty now because it's so slow and the branch no longer really has a bouncy turret This tank and the tanks after it used to have a really stupid bouncy turret, and were really fast. Under 100% crew is a scam Jgpan 2 should be part of the tree :(
@@ICCUWANSIUT we've had plenty of "fake" paper tanks in the game that never made it off drawings. Like you mentioned, now we basically have the imaginary tanks that probably didn't even have paper designs lol
Jagpanther 2 was one of the most comfy grinds in the game for me (back when it was the tech tree tier 8), I also enjoyed the tier 7 jagpanther, but the JP2 was really fun to play aggressively with.
O-Ho used to be great fun with it's relatively quick reloading 15 cm derp gun. The HE changes had just taken so much fun away from the game and added nothing (made the games even faster and matchmaker less diverse)
It has made the game far less toxic and meant that guys need to learn how to pen weak posts instead of pressing the 3 button and spamming HE in other tanks silhouettes
And it was and still is fun with a 105mm. Its low win rate proves that most players are derp brains. Driving to the same spot and shooting at tanks in mirrored locations. Same goes for all tier V-X Japanese tree heavies and M4A3E2. Playing Arti was more challenging.
Personally, I'd play a jgpanther II over the ferdinand any day of the week; that sloped superstructure and mobility, along with the good gun is so good. Plus, more than once I have gone, "wait, I've done *that* much damage already?!"
The T69's biggest weakness is the penetration and the gun handling. For the O-Ho, it doesn't have any gun depression on the front and it only relies on armor. And that's the worst thing to rely on for a tier 8 heavy, since everyone fires gold.
It's almost like I'm halfway through it already? And even so, I've watched his content since 2014, I don't need to finish the video to know that it is a good ass video.
I just saw that the Panther II has an average win rate of hardly more than 44%. I must say that I am an average WoT-player, but my winrate with this vehicle is about 60% - and I do not regularly reach this percentage on other grinds. My sole explanation is that people might just rush the tank in order to get to tier IX, the E-50. Maybe it‘s the same with the T69?
I am grinding the panther II right now and as I played t69 as well I must say- the difference is huge. Panther II has its own role, t69 has none. It is not a sniper nor a brawler, nor a light tank. And the worst part is that the t IX and t X ain't better
@@Mrspaceman1999, I guess you might be right. But it does not explain why the Panther II has such an abysmal winrate. It has a very precise gun which suffers only from its mediocre alpha.
Panther II lacks mobility, armor, cammo and depression. No matter what you do it's easier target, so it's insta-dead when spotted. Short, it cant brawl, hulldown nor peekaboo, just passive spot and support. What an irony at almost unpennable front WW2 tank.
Hi quickbaby! Video request here. I’ve been playing the leopard 1 and the Cs-63 a lot lately and i love using the mobility and guns one them. Could u do a video perhaps with tips on when to be aggressive and push hard particular in fragile tanks. I’ve had great games where I’ve sat back and sniped more and also when I’ve pushed hard and made aggressive plays. But then I’ve also had games where I’ve pushed hard and have been annihilated in the first ten seconds and games where I’ve sat at the back and just done nothing all game. Any tips for trying to get the right balance between caution and aggression?
Will you disable the option of second set of ammo and consumbles on tanks that you don't really use them on? That way you don't have to click that ammo notification each time you queue into a match. It's so infuriating
@@theimmux3034 That's what I thought too but if it's identical it just uses them from the first set--the way it does with equipment. If you choose vents for set 2, it uses the vents from set 1. Same with ammo and consumables. You only pay if you use something different. Try it.
i loved to play the T69, i used the stock gun for the extra shell/quicker reload (( which often confused players )) and played it as an asassin, circling bigger tanks to hit there sides and back.

When I was playing Blitz, JP II was my go to tank, farming people from all ranges, raming things + shot usually ended up with 900+ damage. It was borderline OP for me. Whenever I saw a Skorpion, I was already loading HE to slap it for over 600. In blitz there is a skill that can be summarized like this: you penetrate 4 shots, the 5th has a 30% chance (depending upon the level of the skill) to hit for a max roll, which made this tank all the more savage. Before you shot that VK.28.01 I felt it in my bones you were going to decapitate it, I guess my old bond with JP II is still kicking. Please, if possible, bring up some games in JP II and the Tigers
the problem with the O-HO is its -3 degrees of gun depression on 90% of the front of the tank making you over angle and expose your terrible side armor and the front plate is to weak with about 50% of being easily penned

I haven’t played WOT in forever, but it sucks to hear the two tanks I’m highest on suck… or just aren’t tech tree anymore. In the Walker Bulldog and Jagdpanther II
Yeah, I was confused about the decision to take a medium tank with famously sub-par penetration into the city. Head-on against heavies, the result seemed predictable.
I really liked the T69 and i was really good with it. Like the TVP. Yeah i am strange. But in another hand, i hate the AMBT (what a waste of 15k golds...)
Jagdpanzer 105 was a Pain from the start. The high pen does nothing, the high precision does not hit and even the good camo won't work. I really don't understand why the tank ist so bad ingame. Are there hidden stats?
I only played the JPII on a friend's account *ONCE* - came away with Radley Walters and most damage (this was before you got a badge for it). I did the same thing with his tier 7 russian arty (SU-14-1?) arty after 45 seconds disconnected. This had to be like... 8 years ago when arty was actually something to be feared.
Nice games! But you threw away the top gun medal in the last game with the mind-boggling circling maneuver when you knew that the enemy was right in front of you on the hill and they probably wouldn't attack considering your side totally overwhelming theirs at the time.
First thing a thumb up for the video. But that proves that x% is the tank, x% is luck but the most is the player and his knowledge of the game and map. So well done to you Sir. On the minus, this video is not so relevant as not to many players afford to play so many many hours and gain your experience. So I think is a bit excessive. Overall well done and thx. Keep it up.
I really enjoyed playing the T-69. It was the first tank I played that people started reporting me for absolutely spanking them. Admittedly that was a few years ago now, but I made it work.
Lmao i recently played the bulldog and I loved it. Managed to 3 mark it( my first one) and do Lt 15 of obj 260 with honours with it. I couldn't do it with a 5 skilled elc. Something about the bulldog is that the enemy always underestimates you and plays recklessly, meaning that it you anticipate a bold move from an enemy elc of lt 433 and position accordingly you can almost always win. Only real problem is ebr( with which light ebr aren't a problem?) and elcs (for spotting duels).
good video with some nice gameplay. I totally confirm to your statement at the end why this techtree or collectors vehicles have such bad winrates compared to premiums or the 'meta' techtree vehicles where people know they will keep and put a good a good crew on it (maybe even invest additonal crew books).
The bulldog is just a crappy light is so bad at spotting since it good bad cammo, the good part it was so easy to mark it when you know how to play lights. I use for optics instead of vents
Also what the Stat bombers don't realize about WR% is how many games you enter the match the whole team lemmings off a hill and you get stuck 1 vs 9 or similar. WR% is a very inaccurate measure of a vehicles ability, players as well because of the many games where the whole team suicide yolo's and leaves you hanging. Literally last night I had 10 games in a row where the whole team was gone in under 3 mins even with me keeping the red team lit. Nothing you can do for WR% when it's you vs 14.
hi Will, are you aware that Milionpugs is now selling some WoT goodies including E-25 and M6 mutant, but like all the time and no restrictions as far as I am aware... and its not even that expensive from what I've seen...
Hahaha, seeing you get dumped on in that T69 makes me feel so much better when I get the same treatment in mine (on a 1,5-skill crew with no field mods and no premium consumables except some shells).
I’m super happy to see the yagdpanther 2 make appearance on your channel even if it wasn’t the best way for it to happen. I loved that tank. Had it when they did the tech tree updates and it magically got replaced with the yagdtiger. Still miss it.
I kinda even enjoyed t69. Although admittedly I remember I felt like I had to use 100% of my brain and focus to make it work. The thing that bugged me the most about it, apart from the penetration of course, was its poor mobility. If it had mobility of a proper medium tank it would be whole different vehicle to play.

If 246 pen isn't enough for you, you're just bad.
i think the JP2 is still competitive, one of the best TD-s in at least German line.
@@eclairamisu2517 There's almost nothing that can reliably bounce 246 at tier 9 much less at 8. Use your head and aim better.

Both of these acts essentially force free-to-play players to play over power tanks or not play at all.
t5-6 arty over performs, arty in general hurts the game and most arty players hurt their team.
@@Astrothunderkat
I don't think you're right...
I loved the bulldog to pieces at tier 7. I can count the times I played maybe 6 times after it moved to tier 8.
@@RedXlV they really killed the game for free to play people. Especially if you are of average skill or lower
That AMX spotted you when he turned the turret. I remember WG saying that spotting mechanic also relies on turret direction, meaning it is better where your gun points.
T-69: "I'm leaving you"
IS-6: "No, comeback!"
Jagdpanther 2 was my first tier 8 back in the day. It was so good when hull-down, since gold rounds and high pen were rare. Still very mobile with a great gun, I think the crap winrate is undeserved
It is still amazing. Actually hits its shots unlike Scorpion G. I also love the black dog. They are just hard tanks to play
I was just watching the argument between the T26E4 and the Skorpion G, while the O-ho game was playing out lol
Love these types of videos so much QB! Always fun seeing you play live and your live reactions lol keep up the great work! 👍
Every Tier in this game needs some love. like 5-10 years ago, I would play every Tier tank now, you only play your best tanks.
Whenever Quickbaby has the options of a Turbo or "LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE" i hear "Well on a map like this, clearly we are taking the Turbo". It cracks me up so much.
How about a "before it was nerfed" video on the Bulldog?
The fight in the JagdPanther II was bussin' !
Good stuff QuickyBaby. :)
But I love my T69, it's just kind of shitty now because it's so slow and the branch no longer really has a bouncy turret
This tank and the tanks after it used to have a really stupid bouncy turret, and were really fast.
Under 100% crew is a scam
Jgpan 2 should be part of the tree :(
It's weird
They removed it because it wasn't historical and now we have tanks like the BZ-176...or that weird Pawlack American HT
@@TheNewReviewer xDDDDDDDDDDD no it didn't. Take your head out of your ass and see the broader spectrum of things.
And it was and still is fun with a 105mm. Its low win rate proves that most players are derp brains. Driving to the same spot and shooting at tanks in mirrored locations. Same goes for all tier V-X Japanese tree heavies and M4A3E2. Playing Arti was more challenging.
@@TheNewReviewer There is no way you can aim at weak spot with most derp guns
Personally, I'd play a jgpanther II over the ferdinand any day of the week; that sloped superstructure and mobility, along with the good gun is so good.
Plus, more than once I have gone, "wait, I've done *that* much damage already?!"
The T69's biggest weakness is the penetration and the gun handling. For the O-Ho, it doesn't have any gun depression on the front and it only relies on armor. And that's the worst thing to rely on for a tier 8 heavy, since everyone fires gold.
Great video! Next I would love to see the worst tier 9 tanks (looking at you, AMX 50 120)
You haven’t even watched 5 minutes of it lmaoo

T69 has a dear spot in my heart, I remember waiting to unlock it and then having a blast with it. God, the memories.
I'm definitely enjoying this series of videos, I get to see tanks that are not often featured.
You should also make another one such as 'the most average tanks' just to get the idea for players on what it feels to play with it.
@@nativoobstinado3525, true. Hardly anyone knows that the Panther‘s frontal armor was stronger than the Tiger‘s.
Ask skill for advice, this guys can barely do 3k spot on Malinovka
Camo up the Jpanther II? That must be something better to take for that. But this serie is really great. I love it.
The bulldog used to be my favorite tier 7 light tank with that 12 shot autoloader. Now its just a ... dog
Wow - that O-Ho game on Mines was pretty crazy at the end!
Will you disable the option of second set of ammo and consumbles on tanks that you don't really use them on? That way you don't have to click that ammo notification each time you queue into a match. It's so infuriating
If you're happy with your set up just make them both identical, that way it doesn't do that.
@@artm1973 You'd have to buy more ammo and consumables tho
@@theimmux3034 That's what I thought too but if it's identical it just uses them from the first set--the way it does with equipment. If you choose vents for set 2, it uses the vents from set 1. Same with ammo and consumables. You only pay if you use something different. Try it.

That Jagpanther game was exciting! Great vid.
I love how the super pershing in the O Ho game says "sting" instead of "stink"
i loved to play the T69, i used the stock gun for the extra shell/quicker reload (( which often confused players )) and played it as an asassin, circling bigger tanks to hit there sides and back.
That game on mines a nail biter!!! You should really do an in depth video on the intricacies of this battle.
The super Pershing stand 1 vs 2 would be good to look at

I've been waiting for this!!!
"Im the O-ho" :D
also the 2 shots at the end were crazy, that they missed :Owhat a great game, worth that you stayed
the jp game showed how good players calmness can win games :)
Apparently, the magic password for a good O-Ho game is repeating three times: "I'm the O-Ho. I'm the O-Ho. I'm the O-Ho!"
I love watching these battles keep them coming please.
JPanther II really surprised me, my most favourite T8 TD, it's so nimble and people are always surprised to get smacked in the face

Hey QB, I have a nice challenge: ALL AP ARTY CHALLENGE (Only AP shells in arty game). I think the worst win ratio tanks are easy for you.
That o oh game was a banger. Nice 3rd mark on jpanther ii
NEVER fight the heavies in the T69. Big mistake. The result was your own doing.
Yeah, I was confused about the decision to take a medium tank with famously sub-par penetration into the city. Head-on against heavies, the result seemed predictable.
Thanks!
Really enjoyable video, QB. We all learn from this vs. you playing better tanks.
Txs Claus I like the video and the big intro❤
At 43.54 we see uderniy and 259a at top. When we will see this tanks in game?
I only played the JPII on a friend's account *ONCE* - came away with Radley Walters and most damage (this was before you got a badge for it). I did the same thing with his tier 7 russian arty (SU-14-1?) arty after 45 seconds disconnected. This had to be like... 8 years ago when arty was actually something to be feared.
the fact QB didn’t do the usual intro threw me off so I had to say it in my head
Perhaps Collector vehicles could have the ability to put any crew in them as an added incentive to use them...
Really enjoyed the length of this video
So do I get it right? You have to loose a lot of credits or loose a match against a skoda t56?
I hate that WG stole the Bulldog's machine gun. It was fun back then. I will not forget this, WG.
M41 used to be my favorite light tank. Sold it right after the nerf. Wargaming ruins everything I love.
That super pershing is an absolute chad. 1v2 the west flank and won
Rotation device on the jpanther 2 is really nice on that tank
Nice games! But you threw away the top gun medal in the last game with the mind-boggling circling maneuver when you knew that the enemy was right in front of you on the hill and they probably wouldn't attack considering your side totally overwhelming theirs at the time.
That O-Ho game had me on the edge of my seat!
Enjoyed the O-Ho game as a victory looked unlikely and it was close to the finale.
good video with some nice gameplay. I totally confirm to your statement at the end why this techtree or collectors vehicles have such bad winrates compared to premiums or the 'meta' techtree vehicles where people know they will keep and put a good a good crew on it (maybe even invest additonal crew books).
To be fair that T69 game was not very well played at all
The bulldog is just a crappy light is so bad at spotting since it good bad cammo, the good part it was so easy to mark it when you know how to play lights.
Love ur vids! Keep up the work. U made me reinstall world of tanks!

Hahaha, seeing you get dumped on in that T69 makes me feel so much better when I get the same treatment in mine (on a 1,5-skill crew with no field mods and no premium consumables except some shells).
For someone who recognises that SPG's have a role in WoT you do not include them in the best of/worst of roundups.
I’m super happy to see the yagdpanther 2 make appearance on your channel even if it wasn’t the best way for it to happen. I loved that tank. Had it when they did the tech tree updates and it magically got replaced with the yagdtiger. Still miss it.
Did anyone else get the Poop Transplant video as their ad? That was the most hilarious thing I've ever seen :D
That o-ho battle is intense! I wish I could play with players like this. I tried but playing in asian server, communication is abyssmal and rarely someone reads the chat.
