I really miss Richie, Bon Jovi isn't the same without him, Phil x is a great replacement but he's not Richie. Richie was there from the beginning and if I'm going to a concert I want Richie to be there. Richie and Jon are perfect together And it's just not the same without him. I really hope Richie comes back!
It is like that for all bands that change up in their older days. But it is still a good show. I do get your point though. But here is the truth, it is different. Times are not the same anymore. Those days have passed. And Phil X is one bad ass on that guitar. So if it does have to be different then he is a very good choice.

I do think that Richie would have offered to loan him a guitar if they had known about the problem before they went back out on stage, but in this case I think he was trying to let him know they had his first guitar fixed. Richie was a fantastic guitarist when he was with Bon Jovi, and I may not be a fan of the material he put out since he left but I respect him. I wish we could have had one more full length concert with Richie before or after the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame performance.

Richie was so in tune with awareness not just to offer his guitar, but to cover vocals when Jon walked away from the mic.

Does anyone know what the problem was at the concert? Were the guitars out of tune? Was there connection issue to the PA system?
They’re using wireless systems for the guitar, which sometimes can dropout or loose connection. Sometimes the frequency can be clogged up too ^^
