OMG... Didn´t want to confuse/Anger somebody... As far as I know, they only use it for one chorus and even that is no CD.. They use an older live Version where the band really hit the notes very well.. Bon Jovi don´t sing the Chorus for years now, his voice developed and it is too high (listen to some of his "attempts" of the higher notes before the guitar solo. It is very hard for him, but he still tries it every time. But to be totally honest - and so sorry if i might offend you now: Please do yourself a favour and never search on Wikipedia the term: "Backing_track" - I am afraid, you wouldn´t attend a concert except of a few local guys at the nearest Club... You would be surprised or disgusted or all in between when you read, which and how many bands/singers use "technical help" during Concerts, just to give the fans the pleasure of a nearly perfect concert..

He handled all those situations like the professional he is! This is why Bon Jovi has been my favourite band from the first time I ever heard them over 35 years ago!

I was fortunate to be one of the privileged people to attend an invite-only, Bon Jovi concert at a very small club in Woodstock, NY. This was a very intimate setting. At some point during the set, the sound went out. Jon handled this very graciously by raising his glass and making a toast to the audience. At another point in the show, he took someone's Giants cap and placed it on his own head, stating that the Giants was his favorite team. I talked to Tico at the bar after the show and shook Jon's hand backstage.

At home in 2020, when their tour was supposed to happen, his voice still sounded amazing. You can't expect someone to have such a voice for forever. On pretty much all of Bon Jovi's videos, you can find at least a couple recent hate comments about his voice. Just enjoy their previous recordings, and spare Jon and his fans the unneeded hate.

My first concert was in 1986 to see Bon Jovi open for 38 Special. Half the audience left after Bon Jovi finished. One of my favorite Bon Jovi moments is in the video Dead or Alive when he sings "I've seen a million faces (huge audiences is lit up with lights in front of him) and I rocked them all!". So bad ass. They started the MTV show Unplugged because of Jon and Richie's acoustic performance on MTV Music Awards. If you haven't see it then you have got to watch it! True musicians!

I wish I had the opportunity to "fail" as much as JBJ!! He's got 300 million reasons in the bank not to give a flying f*ck about what we think in youtubeland. You can tell he had voice coaching lessons a long while back and he shortens his phrasing and clips back his vowel sounds. Singing "me" long and loud hurts the vocal chords but if you sing "mey" it is a more rounded tone and puts less strain on the voice. Listening to Bon Jovi live highlights just how much he doesn't belt out the tunes the way they were recorded. Age comes to us all but he is still a ledge in my book.

I wish I had the opportunity to "fail" as much as JBJ!! He's got 300 million reasons in the bank not to give a flying f*ck about what we think in youtubeland. You can tell he had voice coaching lessons a long while back and he shortens his phrasing and clips back his vowel sounds. Singing "me" long and loud hurts the vocal chords but if you sing "mey" it is a more rounded tone and puts less strain on the voice. Listening to Bon Jovi live highlights just how much he doesn't belt out the tunes the way they were recorded. Age comes to us all but he is still a ledge in my book.
