- The Pistole Parabellum 1908-or Parabellum-Pistole (Pistol Parabellum)-is a toggle-locked recoil-operated semi-automatic pistol. The design was patented by Georg J. Luger in 1898 and produced by German arms manufacturer Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) starting in 1900 with other manufacturers such as W+F Bern, Krieghoff, Simson, Mauser, and Vickers; it was an evolution of the 1893 Hugo Borchardt-designed C-93. The first Parabellum pistol was adopted by the Swiss army in May 1900. In German Army service, it was succeeded and partly replaced by the Walther P38 in caliber 9×19mm Parabellum.

Lovely animation.
Not useful for a simple field strip, which doesn't require removing all those smaller parts at all. Also, be very careful about removing the grip panels - use a finger to push out the right panel first, reaching in from the empty magazine well. Then the left one, which can hang on the safety lever and crack or chip very easily.
Some of the parts, like the main spring are quite tricky to install.
But, overall, if you wanted to know how the pistol is assembled, this is a very accurate and useful video.
Great job, a bliss since that weapon is as dramatically complex as it is fascinating.
I am a gun builder and need an expert on Luger .30 caliber pistols to help me tune a trigger on a mix and match gun in Texas.
Complex, yet i challenge meself and got top 3 with this gun.
