Sorry if the question sounds stupid, but how did that interaction go through, isn't skill drain a continuous effect and therefore it doesn't activate when fenrir activates?
Nevermind I'm an idiot, Fenrir declares effect, ogre destroys fenrir, therefore effect goes through cuz fenrir isn't on the field anymore.

Fenrir eff target skill drain into ghost ogre was the nastiest play I’ve ever seen! So clean!!!!
How does that work ?
@@yinglo3270 skill drain negates monster effects WHILE on the the field, but effects can still try to activate to start a chain. So on attack dec trigger fenrir target skill drain to banish face down. Opp pass priority, pak chains ghost ogre directly on his fenrir destroying it. As the chain resolves, fenrir is destroyed. Because fenrir’s effect is still on the chain and it’s not on the field anymore, it’s now good to banish the skill drain and dodging the negate
@@MrChowstardust sry im still new to the game, how is priority determined? I assume Pak could chain link 2 ghost ogre with prio bc it was his turn or does opponent get first response to declaration of attack?
@@lolspirit2617 you good buddy! Priority is given starting with the active turn player for first action unless in an open game state after a chain has resolved. Then when the priority is given to the non active player, either they respond or pass again. After that, only the active player can then have one more say before moving phases or resolving the chain. So in this case, pak is active player attack dec cl1 fenrir, opp nothing, pak cl2 ghost ogre, pass round priority again, then resolve. A simpler way to look at it with priority would be like a monster attacking, active player pass priority, opponent chains mirror force on attack dec, pass priority again before resolving the chain.

at 1:16:50 if you activate something in the imper zone and remove it, it is still negated. the eff stays in that zone so it will be negated

At 1:16:50 where you play delicious in the imperm column and attach with happy I tried it in EDOPro and delicious was negated. Also, for Epurrely Happiness you bounce at resolution so after you resolve delicious CL1 and Happi CL2 your opponent can't activate book of eclipse in response. Love the locals streams keep it up.
Yeah, it's like bagooska. It activated in the imperm column, so the effect to make a monster indestructible by battle is negated, causing the effect to SS from deck to fizzle
At 6:20, confused how you are activating ghost ogre here. Isn't the skill drain's negate a continuous passive effect like bagooska?
Skill drain negates field monsters effects, not activation. So, since the Fenrir is not on the field anymore 'cause Ogre, you are still able to resolve the effect.
Clean play.
Locals are so much fun to play. I get reliant on Master Duel prompts for hand traps and other effects.

minor thing at 1:03:25: if you are doing the s:p noir play, especially game 1, i think you should make the noir first before s:p. nibiru on summon of s:p would be quite a punish losing s:p and you didn't have field spell up at the time, losing out on an extra purrely to restart your noir. in that exact instance, it was probably fine since it's game 3 vs branded but i have fallen prey to that exact interaction before

Tryna learn some more by watching these matches. How exactly does the interaction Match 1 game 2 vs Snake eyes work. You attacked w Fenrir into Witch to activate effect. Does skill drain activate in response, in which he chained ogre? Am i understanding this correctly?
Or does he ogre his own Fenrir so it is in the graveyard on resolution so skill drain doesnt affect it

I don’t quite understand how he could use ogre at 6:17, isn’t fenrir declare attack chain effect occurring during the damage step? I thought ogre was not a type of effect you can use during this phase. Or is this fenrir effect not considered damage step?

Should have made appo instead of skull, should have tributed chaos creator to make colossus, should have summoned a matrix off of roar, and should have summoned a titan off of thunder fusion… wow….. had full hand knowledge and still played like 🔥 🗑️
Token can’t be linked off for Apollousa.. Additionally his draws from Sarujya probs aligned for the ttt and the chaos creator. His board is weak if he made Apollousa and he wouldn’t have hand knowledge. Otherwise he would have talents on nibiru.
His endboard game 1/ turn 1 was good. He just took the wrong card on his talents
