Well when my mom got pregnant with me before she was 17. Both my mom and dad's families wanted her to aboard her baby. But my mom and dad said no and then 18 months later my brother came along. Well my father's family accepted me and my brother when we were born but my mom's family not so much. Her mother didn't want her to have kids in the first place and when she found out she having another baby she wanted my mom to get an abortion for the second baby. She wanted to get my mom abortion the first time. But my mom and dad says no they want to be parents. But my mom's mother never accepted me and my brother whatsoever. But my dad's parents accepted me and my brother and they're glad they did have kids. But that wasn't the '80s and a lot of people didn't make good decisions back then. And my mom was almost 17 when she had me and my dad was in his 20s. And they were dating at the time when they had me and my brother. So my mom cut all ties with her mother because frankly she never wanted grandchildren. Her mom never sent us any birthday cards, never ever visit us, and hadn't contact with any of us. Because she didn't want to have grandkids. Well at least my father's parents wanted grandchildren. They didn't at first but they got used to us. Well my mom never graduated from high school because of that but my dad did support us and took responsibilities so. Even that I was born with Asperger's syndrome. I was very difficult because of that.

Adoption is an option! In this case all parties concerned benefit. The birth mom can be glad she spared a precious life. Both the birth mom and the birth dad can make informed long term choices. The adopting parents get to know a special child.

My mom gave me a choice. She told me i have options but she let me decide and i was only 17. Of course i didn't care what anyone had to say so i had my baby. I have no regrets! 27 years later and i will never regret my decision. She is now 26, going on 27 in September and she is a college graduate with a degree in psychology.
