@@nikostyson3255 Okies, now my honest opinion? 2 Behringer VQ1500d are not powerful than the B1500xp for one simple reason. The Behringer VQ1500d peak is 500 watts (let us imagine Behringer are being truthful). If we multiply that by 2 we have 1000 watts peak. However the B1500xp is 3000 watts peak. That means the VQ1500d is 2000 watts behind. Also the B1500xp has a better frequency range (32 to 200HZ) unlike the VQ1500d which has a frequency range of 40 to 80HZ). So with these figures, I can confidently say ONE Behringer B1500XP is better and stronger than TWO Behringer VQ1500d
Definitely interested in purchasing dual Behringer B1800XP subwoofers, I believe they will blend well with my Tannoy Revolution R2 & R3 tower speakers, I want that low frequency bottom end extention to be authoritative, something that only large diameter subwoofers can do better than smaller diameter subwoofers, they crossover much smoother
That basic set-up you tested sounded nice and clean. It's a damn shame that so many dj's nowadays have systems that sound like trash. They actually hurt the ears to listen to. They need to learn gain staging and eq'ing. As far as the Behringer subwoofer (or speakers), for an inexpensive product it's pretty good, but I would always choose EV's any day.
Thanks fellow 👍🏾. And yes you are 100% correct about some systems out there that sound really bad when the gain and eqs are not set correctly. Also EV is a good product as you pointed out (funny enough my tops are all EVs, only my subs are Behringer). Thanks again for your feedback. Much blessings 🙌🏿
I had this sub, an d added wheels to it. very good sub I believe at the time I paid $699 now you can get it of $499 most places. I would recommend this sub.
Hello mate, Unfortunately you cannot get this subwoofer for that price anywhere, cos even the used subs are being sold for $650. Much blessings, DJ Blink-Blink
The blue and red LED lights on the amp module blink when switched on. I bought it second hand so I don't know much about it. Is it normal. Should I connect it to my Pioneer XDJ-R1. Hope i don't spoil the Pioneer. What is the reason for the power n limit led indicators blinking with out any input given to the speaker. What should I do.

is it allot different than the 15 inch? wondering wich one to buy. its not about the money, but is it much different? what do u recomend? cant find any comperison vids
Yes mate. The 18" is a lot different than the 15", basically the 18" is more powerful than the 15" sub. If money is not an issue, then buy the 18" Behringer Subwoofer 👍🏾😎
Ja, Sie sind zu 100% korrekt. Erraten Sie, was?
I Keep your advise and bought 2 of them. This are incrediable subs for the money. I use RCF 712a and RCF 715A for the mains. I found Sweet spot at 60-65HZ Boost On, Phase Button Reverse. And Connectted My 712A Mains To The Thru Out. My Tops Volume at %75, Subwoofer Volume %40-45 B1800XP Subwoofer's Crossover Point in the middle (I Think it's around at 100Hz). Man I Can't Tell You the balance and power. Sound is " Very Punchy " and Way better than any subwoofer I have used before. Clean Powerfull And Punchy. I'm living in Turkey It's hard to find B1800XP nowadays. I had 2 of them now. I'm looking for another 2 for bigger events. Very Happy with the purchase. I'm Dj'ing Over 20 Years. Highly recommended by me. Look no further. This thing a hammer. In this Price Point I think you can't find any better one. And with good adjustments in the sub you can't go wrong with that bad boys. First you just have to adjust them for your tops in the right way. You must know your tops capability and response at first and a few simple adjustments WOWW. You have a nice powerfull mobile setup. Also I recommend Use them in covers because it effects speakers second hand value. In fact they are not 3000Watts this value is Peak Level. 750Watt RMS 1500Watt Program Power. But !!! the speaker in it super effective and sensitive in 60 - 70 Hz Range Which is What Frequency All the Dj's looking for in their music for a Big Punchy Sound. I think B1800XP not very Heavy (For Me) I have carried Heavier Ones. But It's better to have Someone help with you Or better to install Casters at the back of the Sub. But Be Carefull when installing casters at the back. You must well measure the screws places. And the screws length must not be longer then 12mm Because Chasis Wood is MDF. And thickness of MDF is 18mm. It's better not to pierce chasis thru inside when installing Casters. Or You Can Use "Removable Quick Release Caster Plate" Or "Popp-in Casters" to remove Casters in Every Usage when loading Sub in your Cars Trunk. This idea is for, If you have limited space in your Car Or Van. Otherwise if you have enough space you can make fixed install for your Casters if you need Casters On Them. Eventualy Thank you Dj Blink-Blink For your review and recommendations. I hope to see new videos about Equipment from you.

Never been able to see limit lights Come On From Now On. I Have Pushed very hard about 1 hour in House music and never gets Hot. I Think other brands SPL levels over Rated. This gets louder than KW181's KW181's is Rated at 135 db SPL at Maximum. Behringer is Rated 129 db SPL maximum. I think in the real world usage B1800XP gets bigger than 129 db. When limit lights begin to lite in same way in both subs Behringer gets louder and punchier. I thing New sub B1800XP must be 136 db Max SPL about this parameters as we tested Side by side
Hi mate, Now this is a good question. Sending your signal from your controller to your "tops" first and then to your subwoofer is NOT a problem, however if you do this, you need to remember you would not be able to use the "crossover" or "cut off" below 100HZ from the Subwoofer and your tops would be working at "full range"
yo you got a reccomendation and cost of a 6 tops and 3 subs setup ? i got 2 15"s atm so will need to be around same size and subwoofers bigger as alot of the music i play is hella bassy and you will more than likely know the genres very well
To be honest, it all depends on your budget. For a mid range level, I would advise you go for EV ELX for your tops and Behringer for your subs. This would be punchy enough and would deliver enough bass at any event. However if you want to go all out, you can get FBTs for your tops and Subwoofer. They would blast you away!!!
Hey just a quick question - I have a 500w active top speaker (Prosound brand) would this go well with this B1800xp sub? Or will the sub overpower the top speaker?
@@DjBlinkBlink what do you mean by tank out? I guess I'll keep the sub level lower and than to top to have some balance. I'm hoping the vocals will be clear from the top
@@Unknown-gr1rg if you keep the SUB level lower, then you can work with this combination but you will be losing out in "low ends". When I said "tank out" I meant if you use the SUB in full power, after a while the tops will not keep up. Cheers, DJ Blink-Blink
@@DjBlinkBlink ahh this is because of the crossover right? I'll keep sub at 75% rather than max volume I think should be good. Venue is small anyways its a garden party. Sub at 75% top at 80 or 90% then I think it should be okay and not tank out right?

When it comes to subwoofers for events, you cannot only use the size of the room to calculate their coverage. You also need to consider how many guests at the event because their bodies would absorb the bass. So to answer your question, two of this subwoofer "should" be enough for 500 to 600 guests in a room, if you place the subwoofers correctly in the room. Cheers mate DJ Blink-Blink

3000 peak/ 1500 program / 750 watts RMS is real world. Manufacturers like to market peak amp power to get you go WOW. Lets be honest here. This is a stamped frame woofer in this box. Yup...that's common knowledge which is why we all go by the RMS. Now as per the Behringer Eurolive, the sound is not "Mushy" and you would be surprised with the PUNCH you would get from it. @@manodeejay2547 Okies. So, to get the best out of the subwoofer, you need to monitor three things (your trim level on your mixer, the volume of your mixer and the volume on the subwoofer). My trim level on my controller is set at 10 o'clock permanently. The volume control of my controller does not go more than 2 o'clock and the volume at the back of the subwoofer is always at 2 o'clock maximum. I also make use of the boost switch at the beginning of the event. Later on (usually after 5hrs of continuous play), I would turn off the boost switch and would also reduce the volume at the back of the subwoofer a little.
SPL level is not that Good, 129db from 3000watts. My Alto TS215s are 1200watts and 129db I don’t think they are loud at all in fact their kinda of 💩. My Alto 315tops are 134db they overpower the sub
Out of curiosity have you heard this SUB before? Also just to confirm are you saying a 15" SUB would overpower a 18" SUB even though the 18" can move more air around it than the later?
@@DjBlinkBlink I’m not an expert, but 3000watts and 130db spl Sounds rather inefficient, however that Said I did have a pair of b1200d subs only Rated at 122db they put up a Solid job for their size.. And As a Matter of fact while the 15” Alto I have are Louder, which one would expect they don’t have the punch like the little 12” I was and Still am disappointed.
A subwoofer would only clip if the signal going into it is too high or hot. Adjust your trim accordingly and you would get the best out of this sub or any sub. Also to refer to your comment itself, this sub does not clip quickly cos I have raised the volume up to the 2'o clock mark at events with a bigger hall.
@@DJFANTASTICOENCHICAGO I do raise the volume of my controller or mixer to and above 2'o clock at events but why would you take your trim to full blast 😲. Your trim should NEVER be above 2'o clock unless you want to blow your speakers or subwoofers. I maintain my trims at 10'o clock and I have enough headroom when I need it to raise the volume at events.
Behringer never reveals the RMS of their speakers. They also tend to "exaggerate" the Watt rating of their speakers. For this SUB, they rated it 3000W (I don't believe this) and a dB of 129bB (this I believe). Cheers, DJ Blink-Blink

Have you considered the RCF series subwoofers?
@@DjBlinkBlink I am not aware of them. Could you please give an advice?
@@DjBlinkBlink which ones, plus why those
That basic set-up you tested sounded nice and clean.

I hope to see new videos about Equipment from you.

dj blink is there no problem if you connect the top speaker first and then take the output for the subwoofer?
Hi mate,
Now this is a good question.
The SUB will definitely overpower it and you will "tank out" after a while
@@DjBlinkBlink what do you mean by tank out? I guess I'll keep the sub level lower and than to top to have some balance. I'm hoping the vocals will be clear from the top
@@Unknown-gr1rg if you keep the SUB level lower, then you can work with this combination but you will be losing out in "low ends".
When I said "tank out" I meant if you use the SUB in full power, after a while the tops will not keep up.

DJ Blink-Blink
@@DjBlinkBlink ahh this is because of the crossover right? I'll keep sub at 75% rather than max volume I think should be good. Venue is small anyways its a garden party. Sub at 75% top at 80 or 90% then I think it should be okay and not tank out right?

I just got one of these tonight but it needs a amp :/ the amp it had before blew out unfortunately
Hello mate. Have you tired contacting Behringer?
@@DjBlinkBlink I haven't yet the amp blew out a long time ago it was used in my churches youth room but I took it home with me because we have another one now, it's about 5 years old I think definitely no warranty on it but I might contact them and see if they can sell me a amp for it
@@dylanstechreviewz6857 okies mate. Give Behringer a call and hopefully they can source you a replacement 👍🏾
What size area will 2 cover ?
When it comes to subwoofers for events, you cannot only use the size of the room to calculate their coverage. You also need to consider how many guests at the event because their bodies would absorb the bass. So to answer your question, two of this subwoofer "should" be enough for 500 to 600 guests in a room, if you place the subwoofers correctly in the room.
Cheers mate
DJ Blink-Blink
@@DjBlinkBlink appreciate the response I'm looking to get two subs for my two peavey pvxp 15 that's lacking bottom end and have a gig coming up with a guest of 400 people .
@@dywanecrandell2739 Okies mate. When you place the subwoofers in the room, try to place them in the corner of the room and also make sure you adjust the cutoff point on the subwoofer accordingly so you are getting only the low end going into the subwoofer.
If your tops have a button or settings for "with subs" (which basically means "connected with a subwoofer"), then put your tops on that settings. This would make your tops to work at their full potential.
Cheers and good luck with your gig mate
How meny db?130db or135db

3000 peak/ 1500 program / 750 watts RMS is real world. Manufacturers like to market peak amp power to get you go WOW. Lets be honest here. This is a stamped frame woofer in this box. The box is not Birch either. My experience with the Europower Behringer 18 in one word is "MUSHY" sounding. No real impact. You get what you pay for. This is not an Orbit Shifter or JBL SRX.
Yup...that's common knowledge which is why we all go by the RMS.
Now as per the Behringer Eurolive, the sound is not "Mushy" and you would be surprised with the PUNCH you would get from it. Maybe the "Europower" you listened to was MUSHY as you pointed out, but I can assure you the EUROLIVE is impressive 😎
You are very sympathetic!
Thanks for your kind words 🙏🏿
I have the xp but it still poubds good
Yea both sound good
I made a mistake. I want to know . Do you hook up your top to your subwoofer. Sorry for the mistake.
O yes. Always...my line goes first to my subwoofer... then from my SUB, I send a line to my top 👍🏾
How many people can a pair of these cover
In an enclosed space, I would say a maximum of 180. Open space it would be less. You can use this to aid your calculations th-cam.com/video/izJq0VgYD7I/w-d-xo.html

Maximum level on the Pioneer controller or the Behringer Subwoofer?
@@DjBlinkBlink Both mate . I just bought this sub ,and i didn't used them yet ..so i just was courios how it works when i wil go to event .
Ok , i will ,thank you .👌
@@DjBlinkBlink is they compatible with any active top?

Btw that is the hp not rhe xp
I have this sub and it pounds
+Sayid Khan fantastic. That subwoofer is a beast!!! 😎
SPL level is not that Good, 129db from 3000watts.
My Alto TS215s are 1200watts and 129db
I don’t think they are loud at all in fact their kinda of 💩. My Alto 315tops are 134db they overpower the sub
Out of curiosity have you heard this SUB before? Also just to confirm are you saying a 15" SUB would overpower a 18" SUB even though the 18" can move more air around it than the later?
@@DjBlinkBlink
I’m not an expert, but 3000watts and 130db spl
Sounds rather inefficient, however that Said I did have a pair of b1200d subs only Rated at 122db they put up a Solid job for their size..
And As a Matter of fact while the 15” Alto I have are Louder, which one would expect they don’t have the punch like the little 12” I was and Still am disappointed.
I think this HP not XP!)
Yea. I have both the HP and the XP. The sub in the video was the HP 😎👍🏾
@@DjBlinkBlink Which sounds better?
In all honesty, the XP does sound a little bit better, although sound is subjective to the listener
this subs clip way too soon why does the sub clips at 2 o'clock it can only handles the power at 9 o'clock
DJ Blink-Blink buf do you have your mixer master vol at 2 o’clock?
And your trim at full blast with out going into red
@@DJFANTASTICOENCHICAGO I do raise the volume of my controller or mixer to and above 2'o clock at events but why would you take your trim to full blast 😲. Your trim should NEVER be above 2'o clock unless you want to blow your speakers or subwoofers. I maintain my trims at 10'o clock and I have enough headroom when I need it to raise the volume at events.
10800 ka h yahe product

3000w 🤣
Well who are we to argue with Behringer? 😂
PMPO maybe, RMS I very much doubt.
@@biddlybongdavinport5995 definitely not RMS 🤣🤣🤣
@@DjBlinkBlink still good gear for the bucks👍
@@biddlybongdavinport5995 o yes... definitely worth the price to be honest 👍🏾😎💪🏾
What's the rms or.watts
Behringer never reveals the RMS of their speakers. They also tend to "exaggerate" the Watt rating of their speakers. For this SUB, they rated it 3000W (I don't believe this) and a dB of 129bB (this I believe).
