    This is the official HD-Video review of the Behringer B1500D EUROLIVE Powered 15-inch subwoofer HD-video review. This 15-inch subwoofer runs at a continuous 1000 watts with the on-board class D Amplifier. The cabinet is a heavy duty wood that is durable and stack-able in design. This is the BEST subwoofer you can get in this price range. Best power and definitely the loudest that we have tested on DJbooth.net to date. Check out the full written review found on our blog site found in the first link above. Dude I've been searching for the past 45 minutes, this was a super helpful description of how to connect my powered Behringer speakers to this subwoofer.. I had it up previously and plugged it all in.. Sounded great.. And months pass, hadnt needed it this year regretfully, disconnected it and have a gig tomorrow wanted to reinforce how to plug in the freaking wires.. lol.. Couldnt find a diagram or other video that helped.. I appreciate you posting this, and it still being there!.. lol.. Cheers!

    Great review, I had purchased a set of the powered 208's a few months ago for a outside barbecue for family and friends, they worked great. The highs were clear along with the mids. I do want to either get the 1500D or the 1800D's to compliment the package. Berhinger speakers seem to be a good product for it's price.

  • @no_bull

    Behringer B1500D is a legacy product this very moment I'm commenting on. B1500XP is the successor model and I'm going to get dual Behringer 15inch subwoofers so I can have the stereo subwoofer setup in addition to my Tannoy tower speakers, perfect for that bottom end low frequency extension. 👍

    I went with the B1800D-Pro Per your E-mail to me and i must say this Sub has surpassed my expectations. and just as you state in this review, the build quality and sound are top knoch.
    Behringer HAS pulled out all the stops with the Eurolive line.
    not only did i buy one B1800D-Pro,, i bought two and im sure they will stand the test of time.
    P.S. they are UBER Heavy!!

    hey dj Blaze,can you do some reviews on some power amps for passive speakers?.

  • @rthally94
    @rthally94 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    What the crossover would do is allow you to fine tune the crossover frequency. In most situations, I would pair one with a eq of some kind to help everything sound a bit cleaner. One option that would do both is a signal processor. I know behringer makes one but I prefer one of the dbx drive racks. They automatically calibrate the system to the venue using a included measurement mic

    I have two EUROLIVE passive, they are great and never failed, I prefer passive, as in Brazil is very hot and we have heating problems with the assets. Behringer are a fan of the company, all my equipment is behringer!

    If I get this, how would I be able to hook it up to my laptop (With the 3,5mm jack)? Ofcourse I would need 2 speakers aswell but which would you recommend to go with these (not too expensive..) and would this subwoofer and 2 speakers be enough to get this playing or do I need things like a mixer etc?

    Would this work fine with just 2 KRK rokit 8s and everything going in to a focusrite 2i2 interface? Mainly be used for home use so I don't need it loud all the time but will be used for the occasional basement party with the krks.

    I'm looking at this or the similar Gemini sub, and a pair of 12" powered tops... mixer has 2 sets of RCA jack outputs, master out and record out... how would I hook it up? And Gemini or Behringer for the full range speakers and sub...? I may want to add more later, like a pair of full range 15s, would all that be possible with only 2 sets of RCA out on my mixer? Thanks so much for your vids, these and others have helped me a lot, I can't see spending the $ for JBL, CV, Yamaha, etc...

    I have the 1800d it is a very very good sub for the price, I got it about two months ago and I do mobile and just at home things but after lots of hard pounding abuse close to the limit almost everyday for a few hours at a time and the cabinet is already starting to rattle and have leaks but thats just because I pound the hell out of it everyday so it is a great sub for the price but if your like me just be ready to have a few refurbishes done through out its lifetime

    I would not recommend using this for a bass guitar unless it is in the live rig. The B1500D is a subwoofer designed to accept line level XLR signals form a mixer not he high level signal from a bass guitar. The would work in theory if paired with a DI and a top cabinet to cover the guitar's range above 120Hz.

    Just add up the wattage of everything. You shouldn't run at the peak wattage unless you drive the cabinets way too hard. Just be sure to have a good power conditioner I between the gene and speakers to filter out noise and protect the amps.

  • @Shaker4x4
    @Shaker4x4 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is ok, if you don't expect reliability from the speaker windings. They've since gone with Turbosound ones, that give better performance, and reliability. You'll find them in their X, and HP series subs. HP series is heat ventilated at the rear utilizing a passive heat sink, and X series isn't. I find this is unusual, considering the X series has a lot more power. I don't think I'd be game to touch any speakers aside from subs, that aren't Pro with more durable voice coil windings, depending on what is pushing them, but again, LF voice coils that aren't Turbosound may not meet expectations in reliability. Behringer's reputation is slipping, and support is terrible. Regardless, I'll be running the gauntlet by buying a new set, 2 x B1220 Pro, and 2 x B1500HP. This will suit my home and portable needs. As for longivity, I would expect them to last, and they fit into my budget. Otherwise, JBL all the way (if I were rich!) If they fail, and they won't stand behind thwir products, I'll be sure to make online complaints with the reat of the begrudged cutomers. Lucky I live where 12 months warranty is standard for consumers, but even so, I somehow don't feel overly confident. We'll see I guess. there'll be someone out there telling me to steer clear I'm sure.

    INUKE 6000 dsp or the one with no 'dsp' will work for the ones that need amp right :D
    which is better though VP2520 or B115D the only diffferance is that VP2550 will give stronger middles right since it has an extra 15''

    i have this sub for 90 days! when i buy it it's ok, but now it rattle a lot! but I always use about 80% of the power! if use the 50%/60 will not have problems, but if you increase the volume continuos... this box is weak for the power generated...i will buy now the Fame 18A

    Would you use behringer before electro voice? I'm in the market for a new sub and I'm in between the behringer b1800 pro and the electro voice elx 118p

      The ELX is not worth the money. It has many issues including overheating, distortion and low output. In the same price range you are better off getting the Yamaha DSR118w. They're much nicer and will last you longer with better drivers and components.
