@@juliahelland6488 that’s awesome! Do you know if it’s old order or new order? I love their community here. The stores are so fun to shop at and make great food too!

I live in mid Michigan and we have lots of Amish neighbors all Swartzentrubers (old order) the new order stats about 6 miles south of us and there sure is a big difference but we love them all.
@@ronalddavis5905 that sounds amazing! I would love that. It’s a great place to be and know people in the community. I am fortunate enough to buy my milk direct from an Amish friends farm! So many other little stores that you only know about if you live there.

Amish can be very conservative like shwartzentruber where they don’t even use flashlight whereas the more progressive new order have electricity and house phones. @@tedm4932 I wonder about that myself. I got my tattoos years ago, and was a much different person as well. I know my current circle of Christian friends don’t ever criticize my tattoos. Amish however are pretty blunt about their thoughts. My friends are pretty straightforward. I always dress modestly when I’m around them. I think they appreciate my efforts in clothing choices and don’t notice my tattoos much! 😊
Thank you for replying 😊 I was just wondering, thought I ask. Months ago I watched a few videos inside the Amish community and the guy spent a whole day and learned much while watching. Also another video where he spent time with a modern Amish which they had electric and own cars. There is an interesting guy name Titus living in a Amish area around the Liberty, Kentucky.
