I'm using the Tech 21 Liverpool pedal in this video instead of my amps. I find myself doing more and more gigs using in ear monitoring these days. When I do I usually unplug the speakers of my amps and use a speaker simulator instead. This got me thinking it would be cool to go to a gig with just my guitar and my pedalboard while still having my stereo effects in place. The Tech 21 Character series is a cool solution for this, because it's basically an amp in a pedal including some form of speaker simulation (as opposed to the numerous amp in a pedal style overdrive pedals). The cool thing about this concept is it allows me to place the pedal just after my overdrives but before my stereo timebased effects. In the video you see the Liverpool laying in the top left corner but it's actually between the TremO'Vibe and the El Capistan.
I used the Zvex Fuzz Probe for an Octavia like lead sound. The Pitchfactor is used for the panning on some of the overdubs.
I made the kick drum pattern using Native Instrument 60's Drummer and imported it into the Jamman using the Jamman software.

I'm not using a di box here, I'm going straight into my Motu 828 interface.
After reading your description with all the pedals included in your chain, I must say...that is one impressive and expensive pedalboard straight to PA/interface. Sick tone, btw!

The output of the Liverpool (or any effects pedal you place after it) would go into a DI box and then into the mixing console...
Good demo, very usefull, great music too. If only all the musicians could be as good as you on you tube...

How are you handling your signal before your stereo pedals? I know that you are using the Liverpool right after your drives, but what happens with the signal after it comes out of your last stereo pedal (which I assume is the JamMan)? Do you go straight to your audio interface in two separate inputs (L and R)?

HI, I am a fan. I really love this . How did you do it to get the recording to loop live in separate tracks as you did, and what camera did you use?
It's been a while an my equipment has changed a bit in the mean while; but I think it set the tempo on the looper and recorded a loop with the right amount of bars with just silence - no signal - to set the looping length beforehand. This way the length of the loop is always correct and you can just play to the click of your daw.
The camera is a Canon 650D with a Canon STM lens.
I really enjoy the sound of that Tech 21 Liverpool pedal in your videos! Can you please tell me if you have any experience with the Tech 21 Sans Amp GT2? If seems to have more options, which are nice to have, but I am afraid to purchase it and end up not liking the direct-to-PA sound as much as the Liverpool! What are your thoughts on the matter?
I'm afraid I can't help you here, because I never tried or even heard the GT2.

I don't know; Guitar Rig maybe a little more realistic but I find it hard to make it sound good sometimes. The Tech 21 is more intuitive to me and fits easier on my pedalboard:)

That's the fuzz probe with the wah place after it. I probably had the Silvermachine Wah in a more extreme setting where the sweep goes into a higher register than a classic wah pedal.

Een Squier kan ook prima klinken! Voor de intro riff gebruik ik compressie, een milde overdrive en twee delays. Zie de beschrijving voor de specifieke info!

+Gama WOS I don't use a real amp on this tune; instead I use the Tech 21 Liverpool pedal for amp modeling. Which is a nice pedal for bass as well by the way. It adds some grit to the sound while maintaining the lows.

I do the mixing and mastering myself actually. The guitar parts are just one stereo track, there are no individual tracks for each part when using a hardware looper like this.
