      My mates and i have tattoos (not near covered or close). Imo, depends on the location. I think tattoos can be great, especially if custom and done well. Yet i have honestly noticed women with a ton of visible tattoos are mentally unfit. Worse is that branding and cutting- that i don't get.

    I am a woman, and cannot stand tattoos. Especially on women, to me the worst tattoo I see is the ones on the whole out thigh of a woman, and one the back near the ham strings. My dad told me that in guys brains when he sees a woman wit multiple tattoos it makes them think “ well if she is willing to get a lot of tattoos , what else is she willing to do”? That has always stuck with me.

    From a spiritual standpoint, I see tattoos as an act of rebellion against the way we are created, stating that some ink can improve the original design. I find it self-deprecating, pointing out to unresolved psychology and willingness to follow trends without regard to consequences. Plus, inks have heavy metals. In the end the inner and the outer are damaged in the process. That being said, everyone has a right to experiment and learn from it.

    To the young fellow starting a job in London in July: if you’re uncomfortable and being weirded out after only three dates get out and cut her off. That she’s approached you and initiated the dating could mean she’s been watching you and seen a vulnerability that she can exploit, and she’s initiated because she wants control of the relationship. If she’s calling the shots in the dating, making the calls to meet and deciding when and where and what you’ll do, and you’re just saying yes and ok and going along, that’s a warning sign that she wants dominance. If she looks weird to you and the whole vibe is weird, that’s major alarm bells man, and a massive red flag, it’s only going to get a whole lot weirder. You need to put up firm boundaries. Be decisive and shut her out pronto. All the best. Kind regards from Australia. 🇦🇺

      I got the impression the young lad might be a bit intimidated by her forwardness and her taking control. He keeps using weird but I think he was saying it because he may have been embarrassed to say intimidated. I think you are right, he should cut her off. If he is uncomfortable no harm in ending it, especially since it’s someone from work and he is going to be moving on to a new job

      No man is intimidated by a woman. However, if he was raised by a single mother & taught fem behavior, he could be intimidated. But of course then he's not really a man, just a boy with woman behavioral tendencies taught by his single mother. He should cast the skank aside after a free dinner & BJ.

    I’ve always thought women with tattoos usually tend to be more promiscuous, into drugs, have mental issues like borderline personality disorder etc so seeing that in the first few seconds of meeting a woman it can be an instant read. Colored hair is an even bigger red flag. I don’t plan on ever getting any tattoos myself, I’ve just never been into it. It’s like spray painting your house or car.

Meaning: you likely have no understanding of mental health/illness, have some odd prejudice against tattoos, have some misogynistic issues, and use those 3 to just spew false information. Enjoy your virginity, you’ll be holding onto it for quite some time.

    I think women who are heavily tatted or especially tatted in sexually suggestive places do that to attract tougher guys. A woman with tattooes gets hit on more by tough guys than "nice guys" and so she wants whatever man she's with to be able to handle situations where other guys are hitting on his woman. Just my speculation - seems like a strategy to keep weak men away from her.
    Simple tattooes or hidden ones I think have less meaning or more individual meaning woman to woman.

      That is what women with tattoos wrongly think. The more tattoos on their bodies the more they will attract Alpha men. The real thing is that Alphas are more attracted by very feminine sweet girls. If any Alpha has something to do with these tattooed girls is only to have intercourse and period. And then the Alpha will leave this chick. This is my point of view.

    I hate any ink. Partly it's just that I hate the appearance of tattoos, and the idea of doing unnecessary irreversible damage to perfectly good skin. (Maybe not entirely irreversible - I suspect laser tattoo removal is going to be a booming business.) But I think also they have a high correlation with narcissism, and getting one says I don't care to consider whether my future partner might not like them, I want attention and validation from as many people as I can get it from. Also tattoos tend to correlate highly with promiscuity I suspect. Not always but generally a woman who screws a different guy every week is more likely to have them then one who saves something for a committed relationship. Where can you find women with no ink and no laundry list of prior sexual partners? Marriage material is rare these days.

I see women into their 40's, at the gym all the time, tattooed up, taking selfies in the same poses different clothes everyday, to me its writing on the wall, take me home just not to your mother

      Anyway, I don't really see anything wrong with women wearing tights clothes where one can see the shape of the nipples, not even if they are pierced. Personally, I don't see why these things would be problematic to anyone who isn't Bible-thumping Christian who basically believes that the sin of Eve made womens' bodies shameful.

However my answer to that is, it's not the moral issue that raises the question in this case but one of said person's personality that led to this decision. WHY TATTOOS ARE STUPID
    I know that the idea that tattoos are stupid may come as a huge shock to many of you. Especially to those of you who have invested so much of your time and energy trying to be cool. Oh, how you’ve labored long and hard to come up with that tattoo idea that tells a story. A story of individualism and character. That tattoo that shows you don’t follow the crowd. That tattoo that shows the world how interesting you are. That tattoo that shouts to the world just how much self-confidence, self-respect and self-esteem you have. Ironically, it is these very reasons that tattoos are simply just a dumb idea. Here’s why.
    “I just want to be different….like all my friends.”
    First of all, if you’re looking at the tattoo epidemic as a way to express your individualism, then it is obvious to me that you don’t know the meaning of the word. How can you truly show any type of individualism by taking part in a movement that encompasses thousands, if not millions, of people? At this point, no matter how hard you try, you cannot get a tattoo that someone doesn’t already have. The idea that somehow scarring your flesh with some insipid symbol or demonic imagery will say to people you’re a free thinker is truly misguided. The issue lies with your own personal self-esteem. If you’re a person who feels a desire to tattoo himself, you’re one of two types of people. The first group is drawn to tattooing because of a lack of self-respect and a love for themselves and for who they are, which causes these feelings to manifest. “ If I had a cool tattoo, maybe then girls will notice me .” Or “ If I get a tattoo, guys will think I’m sexy .” Once the root of the action is realized as being that of a desperate ploy for attention due to not appreciating themselves for who they are, and that they are placing that needed feeling of acceptance in the hands of others, the true motivations become clear.
    Another personality type is the person who thinks way too much of themselves. The idea that someone may not notice them is unacceptable. They’re awesome. A demi-god among us. This sad delusional state almost always manifests in over adornment. Be it tattoos, gold jewelry or outlandish silly outfits. However, all of this is just the wrapping to a package of arrogance, self-centeredness and an inflating feeling of self-importance commonly known as being a douchbag.
    “I got this tattoo because it means something to me.”
    Whether, it’s a memorial to a dead relative or friend, a shape or text that symbolizes something or a representation of life experience, these are the most saddest and most pretentious of all tattoos. It would seem from the stories told by tattoo enthusiasts that these types of people have trouble remembering the events of their life. Simply unable to remember who has died and what they’ve done in their lives without a visual reference. These types always seem to want to have the most painful and heart wrenching memories inscribed into their flesh. It’s never “ This is when I got my PHD.” Or “ This is when I started my own business.” It’s always “ This is to remind me that my mom died .” Or “ My dad use to beat me senseless and this toy was my only refuge from the abuse .” Please. You got that tattoo because it makes you feel like you have a story to tell and you desperately hope someone will ask you to tell it. Then you can appear all deep and introspective when in essence, you’re just desperate for attention. After all, with tattoos you can feel like you’re actually interesting. It’s easier to appear interesting than to actually be interesting.
    “Forget you, man. You’re just a hater.”
    Indeed. I hate looking around me and seeing what looks like the cast of a “Genghis Kahn” movie. I hate seeing people who are emotionally scarred and deeply disturbed being taken advantage of by yet another money making trend. But mostly, I hate seeing people thinking that their outward appearance can somehow make up for their lack of personality. I believe that most people who get tattooed today simply want acceptance and attention and, in their desperation, have had to resort to mutilating themselves. Tattoos are a cry for help. A Band-Aid on a deep seeded emotion and/or mental breakdown. I would suggest looking for a way to appreciate yourself as you are rather than trying to hide behind lame artwork and inane symbolism.

      I so agree with this comment especially the one regarding people getting tatts for remembering people when in fact its just for free attention, validatiom and sympathies. I know a lot of people who have tatts from animals, loved ones who are dead and these people are literally mentally scarred or have some type of mental health.
      I know someone who's animal has died and she literally said she forgot to get a tatt to comemorate him. Im like nah thats just for attention/coping mechanism to myself.

    Another comment made at around the 16:45 mark is that tattoos are non-conformist. I disagree. These days, tattoos are actually a form of conformity disguised as non-conformity. People, especially women, tend to get tattooed because they see other women getting them. It is an attention-getting tool.

    • @edniyaehcaor9509
      @edniyaehcaor9509 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Marissa, why is he a hypocrite or sexist. I think what is being lost here is context. When it comes to a short term fling or just casual sex, having a tattoo doesn’t negatively affect a woman’s SMV. I would argue that it elevates it because she would seem like an easier target for mating. On the other hand, in the context of evaluating a woman for an LTR (long term relationship or marriage) it is most certainly a detractor. There are things that men can do without it affecting there SMV (sexual market value) and things women can do also that doesn’t detract from theirs. A man having tattoos doesn’t negatively affect his SMV because most women do not see what it’s signaling (bad boy, alpha, sexually liberal) as negative traits. On the other hand most men will see a tattoo on a woman and automatically knocks her SMV down a couple notches because these being a bad girl or sexually liberal (to other men) is not something that men like in women that they are in a LTR with. Conversely a woman can wear makeup and a man can’t. Is it sexist that this is the case? Men can’t wear makeup because most women would not be attracted to that as it feminizes him. It would lower his SMV. If a man wanted to do so he could still ignore this female preference and wear makeup to his own detriment in the dating market. These are mating preferences not sexism.

    Tattoos used to be against the law in Oklahoma. It was considered self mutilation which is harm to your body. Im not too hip on tramp stamps myself. Pro Tip when I was in the penitentiary I asked a few of the old timers about thier tatts and everyone of them cautioned against them and said they wish they had never got them. They said as their age progressed they look worse and worse. I just dont find tatts and piercings other than ears, belly buttons, tits, n clits attractive on a female.

    • @technoloverish
      @technoloverish 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So are you saying that they should still be against the law? Also, it's technically equally self mutilating when done on a man. At any rate, I don't think that self mutilation should be criminalized as people ultimately have the right to do what they want with their own bodies. Plus, that law was mostly because of religious views against it.

No, of course if people want to choose to do something, that is their right but crucially, that does not free them from being evaluated by others who find it ugly. If I make myself look a particular way, that is going to be commented upon. If I wear a T-shirt with an ugly message on it, people might take offence and avoid me, etc.
      Tattoos are not an infallible guide about a person's psychology and of course, there is the old saying of not judging a book by its cover. Correlation and causation, etc, etc. But I think what tattoos often show is a sort of bandwagon fashion mentality, which often shows stunning lack of originality. There is too much of this in our culture today. In a way, it is a new kind of conformism. As I noted, it is now almost weird for people of a certain age not to have one.

    Years ago when I was on a high school coaching staff for a women's sport, something like this topic came up in conversation. One point of view that I offered was that at a most primitive level, one is compelled to find a mate and procreate. You may lessen your chances by changing something about yourself in this way. I also offered the point if view that something like this may be deeply personal and not for anyone else. Of course the last bit was to state that beauty (or other traits) comes from within... and how you behave. But you may be passed over automatically by potential mates by your outward appearance. You cant blame them, but it is just reality that some folks are turned off by tattoos so you cant be mad about that.

The remarks about women getting heavily tattooed having issues have been, in my experience, true. The worst, for me, are seeing brides who spend so much on an elegant wedding and wedding gown that is blotched by big garish tattoos. I totally think it’s a narcissistic advertisement that they do not respect their bodies. And if a person doesn’t respect their own body, how do they expect someone else to give them respect.

    I watch the Red Pill videos (RMG and so on), your videos some of the MGTOW guys. I don't know how much of my comment pertains to this video but I agree with mostly with the point of view that you have said Rich. Too much of this is really focused around "how can I get this chick" At what point do these people realize or ever realize that their efforts are really put in the wrong direction? Just do your thing, work on building a good life to whatever level of success you want and the rest will fall into place. Not get offended if you've been shot down by some random skank you get hot and bothered for. That's target practice like anything else in life. Business and all relationships function the same. In business make yourself needed by reputation and producing results and the customers will come to you. When they show up don't be thirsty. Pick and choose who and what you want to deal with as long as its worth your time. The rest can go elsewhere. "first you get the money, then you get the power, then you get whatever the fk you want period" on whatever level you choose to do it. We are all the masters of our reality. Just felt I needed to express that. Cheers From Montreal.

    Whether tattoos are a red flag or not is something I cannot answer. The issue for me is that they make unattractive. The survey that the guest read from at the beginning was useless since it used the wording of "sometimes". And since millennials are too afraid of sounding judgmental, just asking them outright how they feel about tattoos on women is the wrong approach. You have to do an experiment that hides what you are really testing for.
