  • Ferris FW25 5901426 - 36" Walk Behind Mower 118.5HP Kawasaki is a commercial walk behind that is great for getting into smaller spaces and mowing smaller inclines. This mower features a 15 HP Kawasaki engine, 36" fabricated deck, ZT-3100 wheel motors.
    - 18.5 HP / 603cc Kawasaki FS541V Engine with a spin-on oil filter, a dual element air filtration system, full pressurized lubrication system, and automatic compression release.
    - 36" fabricated 10 gauge floating commercial deck with double top deck and double reinforced side skirts, cast-aluminum 5.25 " diameter greasable spindles, and cutting height of 1.5" - 4.5".
    - Hydro Gear ZT-3100 is an entry level commercial grade transaxle, this pump is designed for heavy loads, external filter for easy swaps out on oil changes. These wheel motors have a top forward speed of 6 mph and a reverse speed of 2 mph.

    From what I’ve seen the price is $6,900. Looks nice, though I’ve tried the exmark walk behind and idk if I jive with them. I’d rather pay the extra $1,500 for a stand on.

    Can you get the 36 with the FX Kawasaki motor, I don't see paying for a semi-commercial motor, when the 48 has a FX for $400 more.

      According to Ferris' website, the 48 has the same engine. I think the difference is mostly the air filter assembly. Any other differences that you know of?

      Yeah, the hustler trimstar seems to have the best walk behind steering imho. Needs the fx engine too. But it is a nice machine.

    I do not like how you set the speed on these.... there’s no lockouts on the handlebars so you can lock one side set the speed and go.... you have to slam it forward and hold on! Makes no sense! They need lockouts like the exmarks have.
