i would research the f80 as the first jet, it has peak flight performence
The F-84 gets the air spawn and with he can go behind every enemy at the start l and just pick ppl and shoot. But the F-80 also got great performance. Plus F-84 got them M3s. Who doesn't like more rounds.

a tip for fighting spitfires is to not turn fight them , play energy as that is the p51h strong point , if u are getting chased u can outrun your enemies as you have very good acceleration

I’m doing the same grind myself, I recommend the F-80 shooting star, thunderbolt is one of the worst starting jets

I remember when I researched my first jet, that was 6 months ago and now I am researching my first F-4. still got a long ways to go ;-;

i got my first jet like around 8-9 months ago, now i got 3 toptier jets, f14,f15,f16(i did it with premium time and f4s tho)

Couple of tips for ya; don't take on spitfires at low speeds. The will outturn you. Instead, use ur speed, and try to boom and zoom em. If u miss the first one, run. And with the Bf-109 its the opposite. It sucks at dogfights at low speeds, but very dangerous at high speeds. Hope this can help you (: And keep up the good work, you make some uniquely honest vids.

Early jets br 7.0-7.7 are still fun. Once you get to the br 8.0 to top tier, the fun is over-ish.
Nah, the star fighter is really fun once you know how to play it right (not trying to turn fight and ambushing other pilots as a support fighter)
A couple days ago i used a 200% sl booster, got 1 guy, killed enough ground targets to get the thunderer achievement and got 80k+ SL at the end (no premium account)

I’m doing this as well, only I’m playing arcade. And it sucks. + idk if you already do this, but stream this grind as well. War thunder has a massive community and about 1/3 of my subs are from the WT community

When you get the F82 try to get the gunpod so you can go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt and enemy go 🔥✈💥
Learn how to use MEC, its really east to use on US planes and you will never overheat in the P-51. Also bind keys for pitch up/down, because using a keybind can actually make you turn harder and you can watch your opponent while doing manoeuvres and changing directions.
Man, I feel lucky I grinded out that super prop P-51 before they removed it. I can't be asked to fly that double engine piece of crap since it can't dog fight to save its co-pilot's life.
I just got jets and the best prop are in the naval lines especially the f4u-4b Corsair
When you get the F-82 give it the gun pods because then it gets 14 .50cals

dude I have a friend who started playing this game 2 years ago and he's barely at the first jets and I've been playing for almost a year and I'm aboutta get to rank 4 in like a week

0:14 just checking, you tech tree is missing the naval, are you ok with not getting the f 14, what are your priority planes later in the tree?
F-14 is probably the worst out of the us top tiers it’s only good bc it has am-54s which you can fire from a very far range

He’ll need the naval line to progress to f-5’s and f-4’s. I hope he has thought that one through…
