We want to use similar rope end termination for rope of 16 mm dia fir recovery winch application line pull of 12 ton, pls suggest suitable rope end termination, we are ready to buy in india
The rule of thumb stating “never saddle a dead horse” applies to G-450 style wire rope clips except when a clip is applied to wedge socket assemblies. The reason for this is because the u bolt portion of the clip would create a stress concentration in the live line by “pinching” the live line. This stress concentration would reduce the fatigue life of the live line. You should never apply the wire rope clip to the live line of the wedge in a S-421T, or US-422T or S-423T.
kinda strange there isn't a tooth and track that locks the tension bracket to the basket, I have a hard time trusting that tension bracket getting hit with any kind of horizontal or vertical force, with just friction holding those two studs/ bracket in place. Being that it is under noticeable amount of compression force.

gran herramienta, donde lo compro aqui en mexico?
Do they make one to fit a 175 mm cable??That's a big cable.
+sallymaggiespotty Unfortunately, Crosby offers the S423T Super Terminator up to 32mm wire rope diameter.
I thought you never saddle a dead horse? Why is the saddle securing the dead end of the cable and not the live side?
