I have a lap tray that lifts up at different angles from Temu. I love it! For larger paintings I have a thin board for under the painting. I bought my first square from Team keep your fingers crossed for mE!

It amazes me that it gets that hot where you are, I never knew the upper northwest got that intense. Glad Gracie got a good nights sleep. Your sister's canvas is really nice. I started on a little budget friendly square that I had bought for my sister many years ago, it was an easy one, but my second square was from DAC, a Peanuts Birthday Party canvas, it was awful, it must have been one of their older ones. There was a lot of poppy. I had second thoughts about doing anymore squares, but then I found Richard Lorenz, which most of his are squares. I'm in the northeast and it is in the 90s here, then going down in the 80s. Yes, it will be winter before we know it. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for showing my canvas. I totally get what you are saying about budget squares. I have not done a square yet. I have purchased a budget friendly knowing the quality will not be the same as a DAC. I want to see if I even like doing squares before I spend the money for a premium canvas. If I can do the squares to MY satisfaction, then I will purchase a premium, but not this month. Have put myself on a no buy for a while. Been spending too much lately. Hope you have a great rest of your week. I live in GA and our temps have been in the 90's for the last several weeks with rain scattered in. It's ok until the humidity goes up then it's miserable. Hello Teeda, I would like to see what you do when you're ready with setting the drills, like checking the canvas, adjust some drills, make the decision of you need to put some fixing on the drills.
I just have finished my first bigger canvas from DAC and before that I have done only smaller canvases. I had to fixate all of them and some of the ABs on my DAC canvas like to jump away.

I recently had trouble with the drills sliding out effortlessly to put back in storage containers from my YellowDog Designs tray. I reached out to owner Carrie showing pic of drills getting stuck in the outside lane of my tray. Carrie helped resolve the issue. 6:30 The reason drills were getting stuck seemed to be bc I was working on a budget friendly canvas & the drills weren't uniform in size. With DAC canvas, the drills didn't get stuck at all. Just an FYI why budget friendly may have unintentional problems, but one of my pet peeves is having to remove stuck drills manually each time I change drill colors. I will still buy budget friendly bc DAC isn't usually an option for me. But I digress! My original point is the support that YellowDog Designs gives to customers is amazing, beside the fact their trays are available in beautiful colors you can choose, & you can order the tray with the step up back porch instead of using washi tape. I love my beautiful tray from them.

I live in Georgia and our GoodWill prices have been high also...not like it used to be.
When you brought up the fair ours is the first week of August this year. I Will be putting 2diamond paintings in for judging and also I have a booth where I sell my jewelry resin and diamond paintings at which lasts for 6 days. I just did a craft fair on the 5th and which I did well. I wish you could have put your DP in the fair. Thank you for all your knowledge and experience so we can become better DPS. ❤😊❤😊

I’m so happy you like my channel. I do completion videos of all projects I complete. I don’t paint as fast as others because I’m still working. So at best I can paint about an hour or two a day. Take care and thanks again!! .
Watched brigerton and love it. There is btw even a spinoff about the queens life. I dont know the name but you will surely find it easycause the queen is on the thumbnail. Watched loki as well and its fine. Im a huge fan of stargate. Its an older series. If you like syfy maybe this is something for you. If you watch sg1, than i wanna tell you this one starts right after the movie. Even if they are not the same actors you might miss some parts of the story if you dont watch it first. Stargate atlantis on the other hand starts later and got some starts storywise later but at some point the will be on the same timelime. Stargate universe is the one you can skip. Its just not good at all. Have fun watching anf diamond painting ❤
Season 3 of bridgerton is my favourite. You will enjoy it. Did you watch Queen Charlotte? That was really good as well.
I watched all the csi series and now watching Monk. I like it but don't love it.
I've also watched Picard and Discovery. I did think they were good but swearing shouldn't be in the star trek universe. 😮

Tips and tricks are always appreciated. I've tried using putty, but the diamonds stick to it too much and the putty wants to come out of the pen. I gave up after several tries. So far, the purple wax seems to work best for me.

If you have any advice or tips on multiplacing, I would be interested bc I just haven't been successful. I like to listen to free audiobooks on TH-cam & listen to dp videos (listening to yours now)while I dp & watch some Acorn tv. I love British series like Midsomer Mysteries. I also like to watch cooking competitions like Top Chef while dping. Do you have a goal on diamond painting so many hours a day or week? Do you have a job you work at during the week? If so, when do you hope to retire? Prayers for your loved one's upcoming surgery. She's a natural born diamond painter!

I tried to find the company that manufactures the tray you showed Yellow Dog something couldn't remember exactly what the name is..I couldn't find them on Etsy could you please post a link..we don't have any plans for the summer..I have been using my own putty..it seems to not get sticky...today it was 103..stayed in the house except went out this morning early before it got too hot to run errands..wow..blah..blah..blah....tfs..❤❤❤
