ManSoo Ssi, I can't believe this, I have begun to design my own belt sander. I like your design, especially the self adjusting compression hinge to maintain belt tension! The only thing I think I would change about your design is the guide plate. I would have made the plate adjustable also. My concern is that as you angle the plate to the desired degree, the piece you're grinding is too far away from the belt. This presents an opportunity for your piece to get caught in the belt and an accident ensue. By moving your guide plate closer to the belt, the piece you're grinding can't bind. Other than this, I love your insightful design. God has truly blessed you with a creative mind! Keep up the good work! Kwon

@@mansoolee3 You're welcome. I have been welding for over 50 years. I started with stick (arc) welding, perfected TIG welding, and have been MIG welding for the last 14 years. Of the three I like TIG the most. ALL beads follow the same pattern, but each have their peculiarities depending on the material being welded, and polarity. I believe you weld Flux Core which is more like arc welding. Practice makes perfect. Though I've welded longer, you are truly a master of design. I have much to learn from you SiFu. Thank you sharing your talents with the world.
