Super Robot Taisen Alpha 3 - Alpha 2 leftovers + Gundam Sentinel

Some leftovers from Alpha 2 and the "what could have been" remains of Gundam Sentinel which led to the popular theory of its removal being caused by the inclusion of Gundam SEED.

Remember, in Alpha 2 we also had the Sentinel-style Barzams and white Salamis cruisers actually in-game. We were so close!

Sentinel units were already in Alpha 2, IIRC.
They just forgot to take it out for Alpha 3 like with the other units.

I think if G-Sentinel was "Almost" in any game it was probably @2, not @3. If you notice in @2 (and 3) the Full Armor ZZ Gundam has the beam cannon of the FAZZ from G-Sentinel, a weapon that it never uses anywhere else in Gundam media. Presumably if G-Sentinel had made it into the game it would have debuted at the same time as the game where they actually modify a canonical unit with technology from G-Sentinel.
Additionally the G-Sentinel Sprites appear to me to be blocky in a very @2 kind of way, the SEED Gundams in @3 are more decompressed than the units that debut in @2.

I always attribute it to just neglected and removed possibilities rather than the theory that SEED was responsible for it, especially with just rumors and disdain for SEED over a lack of actual (at the moment) facts.
Just because one new Gundam series was added in does not mean it correlates with the removal of another. There is no "limit" on how many series can be crammed into one game, nor would they need a "Gundam Budget".

Apparently Bandai has copyright to mechs, but not to characters. SRW4 had mechs only IIRC.

How usable are these "leftovers"? Can you actually deploy and fight with them, or are they just single sprites and that's it?

Status screen sprites. They barely even progressed past that in A2 for that matter; but you can tell where they slot in story-wise
On Kusuha's route, the stage where you are introduced to the Londo Bell pilots again IMMEDIATELY made me ping to the idea that you'd probably get Ryou Roots and S Gundam with the Albion and that the New Desides would first show up with Yazan's squadron there.

Wow those Sprites for the Sentinel units look really Cool to bad they did not appear in the final Game
But i hope Sentinel Can appear in a new SRW i mean Sentinel Has appeared A Lot already in some SD Gundam G Generation games so i see no Problem with it appearing in a new SRW

Both 5-digit Freedom and Justice have Mass-Produced by the name...an Easter Egg to Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice perhaps? The game was released in 2005, SEED Destiny was perhaps have both mechas.

Possible that the last battle in Jachin Due would have ZAFT dudes in Freedom and Justice as mooks, or possibly that they'd pop up during the battle with Providence to make it harder to beat him in the time limit given, but that they were removed because it was already a bit of a mess of a mission due to it being a three-sided battle.
