  • This is your not so basic steering setup that mocks the factory setup with easier adjustment & much stronger tubing. We supply more DOM than you need because it is way too easy to make a mistake in your calculations and you can always cut tube, growing it back is the hard part!
    Product: www.ruffstuffs...
The kit can be used with stock steering position on the knuckle or High Steer arms, the taper is the standard GM 1 ton. These are stronger than stock because we use 1.5" X .25" Wall DOM tubing and the TRE's are made for a 1 ton rig and are much larger than stock. Adjustment is easier because we add Hex Head TRE weld bungs so a crescent wrench is your adjustment tool, not a pipe wrench, which will scar the tube and if too deep, cause a major stress riser. Not to mention what it does to the paint...
    Important Note:
Requires welding by a competent person with the right equipment, don't skimp, do it right!
You will need to check clearances with the steering at lock to see if you need to add any bends before you cut it down to clear diff covers, sway bar mounts, etc
    Kit Includes:
    2 - 54" of 1.5" X .25" wall DOM tubing
2 RH - 7/8" Hex Head Weld Bungs, 18TPI for Tie Rod Ends
2 LH - 7/8" Hex Head Weld Bungs, 18TPI for Tie Rod Ends
2 RH - 7/8" Jam Nuts, 18TPI for Tie Rod Ends
2 LH - 7/8" Jam Nuts, 18TPI for Tie Rod Ends
4 - Tie Rod Ends, 1 for the Y Link, 2 for the Tie Rod, & 1 High Angle TRE for the pitman arm

Bought this kit for my zj with 35's and 6" of lift and it is awesome in every way. Thick tubing, excellent TRE's and due to the markings everything is simple to understand the left or right thread pattern. Keep up the good work RS

This looks like a great upgrade for my parts Mike hi steer kit on my Scout II. It only came with 1.125 Dom. 125 wall. Has a bit of flex with a psc ram.

I went with the reamer, however, I reamed a little to far...
Soooo, I suppose I’ll drill the knuckles to 7/8” and install the inserts 🤷🏼‍♂️
