@@chrisking6695 jesus christ dude.. obviously they're exellent for what they are. Try getting a sound like that out of a plugin even a couple years ago. not everyone can afford a $5k tube amp and cab
@@chrisking6695 I have an evh5150 III stealth 50 watt and a zilla 2x12 fatboy with v30 and g12h creamback. Running the evh through a torpedo x with the ggd zilla pack and same speaker combo is pretty damn close to the sound I get with the real zilla 2x12 cab.
bro this riff is tasty AFFFFFFF. damn this auto played after a GGD video from some random dude, and it wasn't a bad demo.of this new cab pack....but shit bro it damn sure wasn't this level of tasty by no means 😅 wish I'd seen this vid in my feed prior to the previous one, stuff like this is what I was fishing around for. good shit my dude. (gonna watch this a few times to learn this myself man 😅, really is sick bro)
It has become my daily activity to visit this video just to embrace your riff. Keep on jamming my friend, your generation is full of hardworking and talented people and I feel thankful about it.
Nice demo. It would be cool to hear just the Archetype as well. I find that I can do a lot of shaping with mic placement in Archetype Nolly and Rabea but would like to know how much better (if any) with Cali or Zilla
they sound great!! the only thing that i found i don’t like about them is the top end roll off, if you wanna hear them in a split coil context you can watch the latest video that I posted, in the final riff I used the second position(split coils)
@@aaron.alfaro I just put those same strings on a guitar today actually. They don’t sound as “thick” on your PRS though so was thinking of going down down a size. Thanks!
Why the hell do I get Nobuo Uematsu vibes from this? This riff sounds like it belongs in Final Fantasy game. (I know why bc music theory, but still WHY IS THIS SO GOOD?)
What a great quick comparison and awesome playin! Which one would you get first? I do play mainly through the Nolly Plugin but i want some good IRs when i'm playing with my marshall jubilee with a Load Box
Thanks man! If you’re looking for awesome rhythm tones straight out of the box, you should the get cali ones, but if you’re looking for something more versatile, the zilla ones are great! they sound awesome for leads and cleans as well
Awesome riff, dude! Question: I feel like a lot of people have had Silo pickups installed and then have switched them out. It seems like you’ve done the same. Was there something distasteful about them? Trying to decide between Silo and Ragnaroks for my 7 string. Thanks!
hey thanks! I think you should go with the rags they are super aggressive and tight. Silos are great but they were not tight enough for my taste and also I didn’t like the top end roll off that they have
but I should also mention that the silos sound excellent for leads and riffs with a lot of notes that don't have a lot of palm muted stuff (like the riffs in the video)
Thanks for the info! Still conflicted because I play the style of music like in this video (though not even close to your level) but the lower tonality of the 7 may come across as muddy without a tight low end
@@aaron.alfaro I have, but I’ve also heard that they’re very mid forward and can be a little harsh sounding at times. I’m probably going to stick with the Silo, but thanks for the input 👍
Both!! of them! The zilla ones are kinda dark right out of the box and more mid-focused so I prefer those for the prog stuff but the cali ones have a very sweet top end that sounds awesome for open chords and chugs
man this just makes the decision harder for me. the cali sounds way warmer imo which is nice in a way. the zilla seems brighter. I dunno what I'm going for other than tight metal i guess is the problem.
Sounds great, both sound awesome. I have the Zilla Cabs, thinking about getting the Cali... great comparison bro, killer riffs 🔥🔥🔥 What drums did you use?... they sound awesome too! 👍🏻
came for the demo, ended up receiving one of the sickest riffs i've heard in a while
thanks dude, really appreciate it🙏🏽
The riff sounds like an actual periphery riff to me, love it.
thanks!
I keep coming back to this video just to hear that amazing riff! Great job and amazing playing!!!
thank you so much!
I also have both and while they both sound excellent, I think I prefer the Cali cabs personally. That riff is wicked, and so is the guitar!
Excellent? Please. Get a real tube amp such as a Slo 100 and play with it and then if you still think those plugins sound excellent I can't help you.

@@chrisking6695 dude it's 2022 already 😂
I would have also liked to hear a few A/B switches in the middle of the riff, especially in the full mix
I like the Zills cab, sounds more punchy to me. Less scooped and airy than the Cali.

Hells yes! Thanks for comparison! Killer lick and gorgeous PRS bud!
Zilla has that P2 sound to it. Love it. Just purchased it because of this vid.
Zilla IR’s are amazing!! and the presets that come with them are sick!
probably because they used a zilla 2x12 for p2 and juggernaut
@@flufficornss yeah I noticed in the documentaries.
The Zilla sounds a lot more open and sits nicely in the mix. But your playing is the highlight of this video man! Buen hecho! :)
thanks dude!!!

that really means a lot me, thanks!!
Great comparison. I’ll probably get HX Native and GGD Zilla Cabs!
thanks man!!
This whole everything is dope and that GUITAR THO
Sick stuff bro!!! Playing is on point, and it's a pretty sweet riff too!

BEAUTIFUL GUITAR.
thanks!
Sick playing dude!

I prefer the Cali, but man, that riff is fire! I think the 2 cabs would actually sound great mixed together and panned out!
That PRS! 😍
tasty damn riff. Learning it now!
thanks dude!
Both sound good, the real treat is your playing hehe.
Great Demo , your prs looks amazing
thanks!!!
@@aaron.alfaro Do you have a favorite in the end since they both sound amazing ?
I’m really digging the cali ones lately, but they’re both great
Okay damn chill! I'm subscribing

riff cool man!

Sounds killer man. I have both too and I think I prefer Zilla still. You? Cheers dude
I like both of them! But I find the presets inside the Zilla more usable than the ones that are in the Cali
Need this Riff's tutorials as bad as i want to breathe

daamn do you have the tab for that riff? was insane
unfortunately i don’t have tabs for this riff :(

Yo what riff is that? It reminds me of prayer position
it’s just a quick idea that I wrote😼
On their own not much in it but I'd probably prefer Cali but in the mix I actually preferred Zilla.
Cali sounds like modern a little high. Zilla sounds very heavy. Just like Hit your face. I think
Whoa! Who are you???
Which do you prefer?

I think the Zilla one are more versatile than the Cali, but both are great, but if you want straight up tight metal tones maybe the Cali is for you!
What speakers were used in the Zilla cab though?
it’s the djenty preset that comes with the plug-in, the speakers are v30s and a creamback
Sick riff 🤟🏾 tab please
Do you have any pre and post processing in this cab?
just some EQ post the cabs

it’s a custom 24 sweetwater limited run!
