I’m surprised there aren’t more comments to your post. Thank you for the words you used. Each word was chosen thoughtfully, and felt deeply. It was wonderful and horrible all at once. It’s supposed to be! It’s a healing process. All the gut wrenching comes out, and at the same time it feels good. Thank you for your truth, your humanity, your heart in this world. Love, a sister.

Everyone on this planet is doing the very best to be the best person that they can. If those who appear to live a lesser life path, are also fulfilling their destiny.

What promise will you make to not not add to the efforts of theocracy? Are you willing to work to make government secular? What efforts are you willing to bring a message that an individuals religion is for them and not to influence government policies?

What's the point with apologizing to black Americans for wrongs you've never committed? If the people who actually committed the wrongs wanted forgiveness, then they should have asked for it, and knowing that many were Christian back then, way more than is now, I'm sure many did, but not to us, but to those actually they actually wronged.
When we forgive people as children of God, followers of Christ Jesus, we do so because God commands us too, because God tells us that only He has the authority to judge a person's heart. It's an act of humility before God and man to forgive those whom, in our eyes, don't deserve it nor want it.
Serving God, serving Jesus Christ is an act of betrayal to ourselves. It's a wanton act of war against our very nature. We are commanded to submit, to enslave our flesh to the will of God.

You're overly focused on religion, you're missing the message because she is using different words, Jesus spoke of the same things but here is the kicker, you are not a true Christian because you do not obey or believe in the actual teachings of Jesus, you believe and follow dogmas and doctrines of man. You're reaping of you've sown. It's a spiritual law, unchanging, no one is exempt, it doesn't matter what doctrine you believe, you break a spiritual law, you will suffer for it. The bible talks about the letter of the law as opposed to the spirit of the law, do you know what that truly means?

So... tells the woman(accurately) that she needs to open her heart to seeing men differently and they meditate and pray on it.... then makes a fake reality that people in this very room are responsible for slavery and the horrid treatment of African americans.... then someone found a target for their anger... oops... the past is gone. There is no changing it. Having people who are the least likely to have committed such terrible acts take credit for and apologize to the people that have been supressed... we are all on the same team and this just adds to that gaping imaginary divide. Racebaiting 101 by Mathew Cooke. You need to watch it..
Rewatch it and watch it some more. I watch it at least once a month... mostly because I have to go find it and post it so people can unite rather than scream at each other. Listen to spirit. My heart got heavy when she starting spitting out apologies... this is not mine... I didn't do this... I am not going to carry it. I will acknowledge it and learn from it and see my brothers and sisters for who they are rather than classify by pigmentation, yes, take ownership of something that not even my ancestors had to do with, no. You need to own your pain and anger, fear and disgust. My friends... this is the very essence of transformation and rebirth... why would I want to take that from you!? It is fuel for your life force. Use it accordingly, and the universe is yours. If there is anything I have learned from life is that if you can transform your own energy(hate, rage, anger or pain), rather than force it onto others the universe cups you it their hands and lovingly kisses you and sets you free. When are we going to talk about Native americans? When will we get to the core of it? We skate around it and get all pissy when things are not changing. We have a core foundation of an entire country and it is NOT freedom. When can that wound be addressed? Only then can we start building a firm and stable foundation for people to stand on. Only then.

Yeah, the deeper truth you're looking for regarding how people tend to segregate themselves as if by instinct is summed up in the axiom, "birds of a feather." It's actually quite simple and hearkens back to the Tower of Babel and the whole reason confounding our tongues actually worked to separate us.
It's because we all have an innate sense where we identify more with people who we feel are more like we are. It's instinctive to all human beings, and it comes from the fact that we are social creatures. God made us this way for our survival and so that we could properly subdue this world that He gave us to rule.

That is a sad and perverse perspective on the evils of racism. There is no moral or spiritual equivalence between the reality of human nature to form families and communities...and the phenomenon of racism, which is essentially one group claiming superiority and power over another group based on the subjective constructs of "race".
Racism is fear/ego based...it is not some benign natural process. It need not, should not and must not be permitted to exist on any level.

I don't think she caters to any one religion. In this video alone she spoke of Christianity, Judism, and Budda. Her goal is merging inner and outer peace. You could also say God is energy and we are part of that collective energy. What energy we put out comes back to us

Well, your answer is in the video. She is Jewish. She also explains that "the miracle" occurs in a space beyond all labels, like religion, race, gender etc... She also speaks of the buddah. I don't beleive that only Christians are aloud to quote the bible.....hmmmm

Hey Marianne, I am just wondering about whether or not we should forgive evil? In particular when someone kills another person? That is the worst sin is it not?

There was a news item about a distressed truck driver who drove to a one room school filled with Quaker children and killed the lot of them. The Quaker community response was to forgive him. They knew that the way to their own healing was forgiveness. The alternative was to forever stew in their own hostility.

Marianne is a new Ager. She doesn’t believe in evil. The book that inspires her was dictated by s spirit claiming to be Jesus and which also claims there is no such thing as evil. She was inspired by that book.
