Great review thank you. I’m a beginner and have been using my daughter’s Maton and want to get myself my own Guitar now. I’ve been looking at this model but with the Spruce top and love the warm sound to it. I’ve listened to comparisons of this to the cheaper Fender model and the Yamaha’s. The CD-60SCE just has a warmer and more open tonal quality to it. My only concern is that the neck is a gloss finish and worry that my thumb will stick to it a bit during sweaty, stressful, practice 😊 I have big hands but, as a beginner, still find the stretch for some chords a challenge and have heard this model will help. I’ve been playing Trumpet since 1976 (later Semi-Pro/Pro) and really like the sound of this Guitar. I’ve started learning because I just want a new musical challenge and to play an instrument that doesn’t need accompaniment. Thanks for the review Sergio. It’s been really helpful.
I love mahogany acoustics. I had a Taylor 25th anniversary 310mce that was mahogany and it was the best sounding acoustic I ever had. I really want another one. Thx for the review of this guitar. It might work out for the time being.

I really like how you present, great playing. I’m considering this or the slightly more expensive one with the nubone saddle and nut with hard case that is only a few pounds more for the spruce one.
It does not matter if the Nut is plastic makes no difference to the sound, Bone only counts in the saddle, same goes for the pins, the only difference in sound will be when you change the saddle to bone
Sergio do you play electric and acoustic guitar with the same comfort? I play two years now only my sg And first time try an acoustic yesterday 😮 And my picking hand's position was very uncomfortable
Well I play mostly electric. Acoustic is much harder, the strings are thicker and there’s more tension, the action is usually higher so you could struggle in the beginning, but if you practice a bit then going back to electric would make that much easier 😎
i hate to admit this but acoustic guitars are horrible if they are not done right with the best woods... in my opinion this guitar sounds ok, but not great... I've owned a few acoustics in that under 500 USD range , but even still in my opinion it's very hard to make a good to great sounding guitar in that price range.. I'd love to own a very more expensive acoustic that costs 1000's of dollars more .. but I can't afford to spend 1000's of dollars on my hobby.. For that price range I could get a good sounding electric guitar , & maybe mod out the pick ups over time
@@itseggboy4 ahhh that’s hard, I really like Yamaha guitars… if you could compare them back to back would be best, but if you can’t: the Yamaha has more treble, this is darker but both sound good and play nice. I think the Yamaha is a little smaller and more comfortable, so that could be a bonus
It depends, i suggest you go to the store and try it. I personally love Yamahas, especially in the 200-400€ price range. They are very well made and they sound great! But you may find you like something else, for the sound, the comfort… it’s important for electric instruments, but for acoustic is a must!
