Hey everyone! Thank you so much for all the support on my previous video! It means the world to me! I’ve taken your feedback to heart and made some changes for this one. First, I’ve removed my facecam to enhance the immersion. I also dedicated about four weeks to learning how to mod Minecraft, allowing me to create custom items, structures, blocks, and more. On top of that, I included some carefully selected mods to enrich the experience as usual. Unfortunately, due to the use of copyrighted music and sound effects that I’m only licensed to use for this video, as well as a few lingering bugs in my custom mods, I can’t publish this particular modpack just yet. While I might revisit these issues in the future, my limited time makes it unlikely to happen anytime soon. I hope you understand! These passion projects are a labor of love, and I sincerely hope you enjoy them. Thanks again for all the amazing support! It truly motivates me to keep going! 🙂
Great job! Loved the intro. I have a feeling that your next step would be to delve more into cinematography and some technical stuff to make full blown machinima style in-game movies with different characters in third person and some first person scenes for immersion.
I'm utterly flabbergasted at that intro sequence. 12 minutes of just straight heat, setting up the stage for some good ol' chill Minecraft. Goated production quality, I hope you blow up because this is HELLA underrated man. Looking forward to the rest of the video!
Hey there! Thanks for the kind words! I made the intro a bit longer and focused a bit more on the story, as that was one of the main points of feedback in my previous video! I also found it very enjoyable to write the actual story/script and make it a more cinematic experience, even tho it takes me a lot longer to make! So, thanks again for the nice comment! It's stuff like that, which makes it worth the effort in the end! 🙌🙂
Yeah I know what ya mean. I was looking through the comments and didn’t see it so I figured I’d better put it in here just cause of the context of the video. I haven’t seen any of your other stuff but I plan on checkin in out cause this was pretty damn good.
@wjng8425 There we go! I loved that movie, and my evacuation pods are heavily inspired by the pods from the movie hahaha. There are also some other references to the movie and games like SOMA, Subnautica, and some others! 🙌🙂
I clicked on this thinking it was a mod, then got greeted by that 12 minute cinematic intro -- wow!! I started thinking it was a movie, sat down, all prepared -- Then it got to gameplay of a guy playing customized Minecraft with Let's Play-narrating his actions. Not my style or media I really enjoy watching, however this whole concept was really cool, and I love the cinematic intro. Keep up the cool work.
I appreciate that a lot! Thank you, and glad you stopped by to watch! I honestly started doing this because, while I enjoy watching modpack playthroughs, I kinda always missed a little story, hahaha. When I was younger, I used to watch "Shadow of Israphel" from the Yogscast, and other playthroughs which followed this storyline or adventure and I'd absolutely love it. Today I see this a bit less. Stuff likes this brings me joy and while it isn't a full movie, I try to make it as atmospheric as possible, while still keeping the playthrough natural. So I'm honestly very glad others seem to enjoy it as much as I enjoy making it! Even if only the cinematics! 🙂🙌
"When I was a kid, whenever I'd feel small or lonely, I'd look up at the stars. Wondered if there was life up there. Turns out I was looking in the wrong direction. When alien life entered our world, it was from deep beneath the Pacific Ocean. A fissure between two tectonic plates. A portal between dimensions. The Breach. I was fifteen when the first Kaiju made land in San Francisco. By the time tanks, jets, and missiles took it down, six days and thirty-five miles later, three cities were destroyed. Tens of thousands of lives were lost." It has the vibes I had to write it (very well made video btw thanks for the content)
I think I need a part two where he suits up with his original crew and goes back down to help the rest of the survivors as well as bring dynamics down for their crimes
Mike, you don't have to go this hard on your intros. It's such an amazing amount of effort, both in terms of just worldbuilding and storytelling for the intro alone. My guy, you could definitely write your own stories and I'd read/watch them lol
You are sincerely one of the most charismatic youtbers out there nowadays. And not only that, you editing is top-notch, you gameplay is enjoyable and your choice of themes is marvelous. You truly deserve more than you have, keep growing man!
Awww, man, comments like this really keep me going! Thanks a lot! I put a good month worth of effort into it, and learning how to mod Minecraft was more painful than I had anticipated, hahaha, but I'm proud of the result! I'm glad others seem to enjoy it as well! Thanks again! 🙌😄
Found this randomly and am watching with a couple friends, this is absolutely fantastic and has us wanting a survival horror game in an underwater environment like this. Seems very much like you made a compelling narrative since we all agree we'd love to play along! The voice filters and vignette for going underwater are very nice touches. :D
I clicked on the video expecting just a dude playing Minecraft, not a whole ass movie. I am honestly impressed at the effort put into this video and really enjoyed watching it. I hope that you will continue the good work!
Those 12 minutes of intro sequence were just the best. Not a lot of ppl even make intro cinematics, let alone 12 minutes of high quality goodness like this and I love it!
simply brilliant!!! I really don't have the words, you've outdone yourself again! The end with the articles, I specifically pressed pause so I could read them in peace. And what happened to Eric! o.o
Oh my god are you kidding me??? This is one of the most well produced minecraft series, god even just the intro! MASSIVE props to you, and for god sakes it deserves more attention and viewers...keep it up🔥
Awww, man, I appreciate that a lot! I'm glad the work paid off, hahaha. I tried my best to take people's feedback into account whilst also making this one a bit more cinematic than the last video, and I'm glad people seem to appreciate it! Thanks a lot for stopping by and for the kind words! 🙌🙂
What in the absolute cinematic masterpiece did I stumble upon!! This made me want to watch a tv/movie series about this. I was actually so immersed that I didn’t even realize nearly a whole hour had passed while watching. Props to you, you should be proud!!!
Was sceptical at first but you've charmed me; the production quality and story telling are both incredibly impressive. I especially liked the intro and outro. this whole thing is very reminiscent of those old minecraft roleplay stories that were massive back in the early 2010s. Keep up the great content!
This was *incredibly* well done! It integrated minecraft roleplay style cinematics with actual gameplay about as seamlessly as is possible. And it was a genuinely good story as well. Enough mystery to keep things engaging alongside the obvious danger involved. Removing the facecam was a good choice as well. The strength of your videos so far has been pulling the audience into the world and making it seem more like a representation of real life than a full on game.
That was exactly my goal with this one and I'm super happy with the result! I really appreciate the kind words and I hope to continue this style of videos as I honestly find this very enjoyable to make, even tho these take a lot more time and effort. Again. Thanks a lot for stopping by and hopefully we'll meet again on the next adventure! 🙂🙌
No, thank you! I really appreciate comments like this as it makes it worth the effort I put into these videos! So thanks a lot and glad to have you stop by! 🙌
What would have been a way funnier ending, a bigger leviathan coming along and just eating the escape pod, but plot twist, it swallows the pod whole and now you need to find a way to survive and escape the inside of the leviathan 😅
This is an amazing video! I would love to see an old fashioned modpack, with progression, custom crafts, quests etc., that starts with the player in the same position, surviving and thriving. Then comes the ultimate goal of escaping...maybe?
This is beyond incredible work! So glad to see your subscriber count rise! Hoping you reach 10k before the end of the month! You deserve it. Truly great work! Looking forward to many more adventures. This has a cinematic and grand feel, while still giving nostalgia from the DanTDM mod adventure vibes. Thank you!
Woah. Just woah. Those intros and outros really kept me watching the whole thing on the edge of my seat. I wish this was longer or even part of a series though I know these kind of videos must take a lot of time and effort to do but I absolutely loved it and cant wait to see more. Keep up the good work man!
Imagine if someone managed to catch Eric's transmission. That would go right up to where government is intervening, Deepcore Dynamics is forced to cough up what they know and did, but the higher ups pull a sneaky and then delete any data within their servers on the surface, and don't provide a full picture despite interrogations. A year and a half later, a new team is sent down to retrieve the data, a team heavily armed, with new tech to allow for even longer periods underwater. Trenchbreaker 2: Descent of the Trenchwreckers.
Dude your attention to detail with the audio too. Like when you’re inside the station the audio reverb vs when you’re in the suit underwater. New sub right here.
Thanks a lot! I appreciate the kind words! And yeah, I struggled with that part in general 😆 the actual fight took me a good 5 minutes because it was causing more trouble than I had anticipated. I didn't even know it could destroy structures. It almost 1-tapped me like 3 times in the process, and I fumbled a lot, so to keep it a bit cinematic, I cut out me missing throws and hiding behind rocks to regenerate my health 😆 I wasn't going to try and re-do anything as I like to keep my playthroughs natural without actually dying hahaha. But it indeed should have gone on a bit longer! 😉 Valid feedback!
Wtf? I clicked on this thinking it was just a playthrough of a modded map with a cool story. I was NOT expecting a 12-minute cinematic masterpiece! And from such an underrated creator. This honestly deserves way more views, and you deserve way more subs.
Man, that intro! I know it would probably take forever to make, but I think I'd watch thay style of content (set in minecraft, but not actually playing minecraft) for hours, just like a food movie or TV series.
This production was phenomenal, and I am so happy this was my gateway to this channel. The huge buildup, the stakes, and the way the map looks are but a few of the amazing aspects. The existence of pressure sickness, and fact this takes place in an underground ocean beneath a real world location also adds to the intrigue, because it implies that this isn’t set in the usual vanilla-based yet fictional Minecraft world like a Forge Labs video or other cinematic Minecraft project, but rather in a minecraft-oriented direct PARALLEL to our own world. I also like the seemingly various nods to Subnautica. The message at the second station saying the last visit was “9999 hours ago”, the huge creatures being referred to as “Leviathan-Class Predators”, and the Suit’s lines advising about said creatures, just to name a few. I always wondered what really lurks in the depths of the sea. Or in the darkness of space. But knowing what horrors humankind has caused with our own hands, perhaps we should never uncover the deepest secrets of our universe. Perhaps there are creatures that don’t want us to explore…… Perhaps it would be best to not dive too deep.
I clicked thinking I'd be seeing a normal gameplay video. I didn't expect to be hit with such a masterpiece of a cinematic Minecraft world! Definitely gained my heart!
dude, i never leave comment but that into was absolutely incredible. i loved your previous video but I think it was criminal to not have that be a full series. you defiantly should think about creating a series man, your views and subs will absolutely skyrocket. cheers homie!
OK i really hope to see more content like this. The intro is amazing so well planned, the voice acting is really good. and the story is very fun and something i can get behind. Love this a lot.
This is my first time finding your channel and i did not expect a video that i was going to use as backnoise noise to go so unbelievably hard. I had to make popcorn and clear my schedule, omg
im very impressed. the editing and story telling is so well done. i was very surprised to see you dont even have 8k subs yet. This was a great video keep it up! Your channel is gonna explode with this kind of content coming from it
Would love to see a minecraft movie made on this topic. After that intro? I think a long-form factor would be cool (perhaps use the community as actors?) That's be awesome
Comment for the algorithm. The absolute fear of being a technician fixing comms and the 1st thing you hear is "evacuation protocol in effect" was something i never had, until now.
Holy cow that starting sequence was amazing! What mods did you use aside from alex’s caves and how did you make the world be a massive version of one of those biomes?
I know what to say, im impressed! Wow. It is way too underrated! I first thought it was an well made introduction for a modpack lets play, but this kind of work and quality surprised me even more! keep it up !
the short of my ramble bellow is i suspect this is more what caused the deep ones to hate humanity and kill em off. as the shattering of the zone was the last nail to humanities coffin. btw i like the cinnama heavy turn here because it seams you love story crafting and your at a turning point were you can do such things. may take a month but i always love quality over quanity channels as my highlights of a month. (FULL watching them vids) this feels massivly better then the glimes i had of the previus episodes. good to see ya getting ya legs under ya and learning to run finally. so bit of head cannon for this. the older facilities (the copper ones) thoes are previus era activity, the exploration and stuff. the one thing theymade that survived the ages is the submarines. but the old suits, the undead in em. thoes are the dead of the first era, unable to be recovered, they are afflicted by the beings of the deep. as the normal alex'caves lore hints, thoes of the deep RESENTED humanity and killed them off. causing the drowned to exist. so maybe... trenchbreaker is just the event to spawn this. the old era was there the deep ones keept to a distance but once the corp took over. well good by humans. this is your worlds fate. with the abondoned cities mod you can move this well onto the surface too. but the one soul who died at the end over coms. well he was just in the middle. the deep would be come a uninhabitable zone as a result of the hostility. so the corps and folks turned to nuclear power. but this too had problems... (nudge an idea for more as another story involving the caves. as i feel its posable) hell you can even spiral this into a full fall.
First of all, I absolutely love the fact that you did a little deep-dive lore-wise! This was a fun read and very much appreciated! 😄 and thanks for the feedback and kind words! We got a long road ahead of us, but I'm extremely excited and motivated for this little adventure! 🙌
Your intro was simply amazing. But the part that did it for me was the suit up sequence at 15:08 this part in particular did not need to go as hard as it did, well done
This is a movie! The cinema, the camera work, the drama, the vibes, this is so well done! The into gave me chills!! Can't wait to watch you blow up (like success-wise, NOT an underwater explosion)
The intro (up until the part with the mariana trench base, completely convinced me it could be a movie trailer 💀 o h g o d t h e e n d i n g i s t e r r i f y i n g
is this a combination of mods like Aquatica, Alex's Caves etc? Either way this is absolutely epic, I LOVE THIS! FINALLY A GOOD LONG MINECRAFT UNDERWATER RUN!
That intro could be characterized as masterpiece. I honestly wish with all my heart as much as possible people saw this. That's why I watch your's videos. Thank you for your hard work! P.S. Actually, it's a shame that no Hollywood studio filmed a movie with that script)
Thanks! I hope to do this ASAP, but this time, it will cost some more time as this is my first time coding mods myself, and it's definitely a challenge 😅
Even though the playthrough of the main character could be a bit better i must say the Opening and the Outro was a Chefs kiss man we need more. This production is Peak Cinema🔥🔥
Thanks a lot for the kind words! I spent almost a whole week on the intro alone after I wrote the script hahaha. The modding took me the longest, tho, because I have never made mods before, and it was needed to bring this story to life! 😄🙌
This popped up on my feed and it looked intresting to me so I clicked. Mike and Team, that was amazing!!!! I would love a sequel to know what happened. Phenomenal story telling and cinematography!!!
Thanks a lot for stopping by and for leaving this nice feedback! 🙂 It might come as a surprise, but it's just me making these videos, hahaha. Which is also why they take so long to make! 😅 I write the story, make the characters, create some custom mods and look for existing ones to make the pack, and then do the playthrough/editing. It's a long but fun process, hahaha. Thanks again, and hopefully, we meet on the next adventure! 😄🙌
Thank you for your dedicated work! I'm really looking forward to the new video. The intro has really got me hyped for everything to come.🤩
your videos are some of the most effort I have found on modpack videos ever!!!!
We need the mods asap
Great job! Loved the intro. I have a feeling that your next step would be to delve more into cinematography and some technical stuff to make full blown machinima style in-game movies with different characters in third person and some first person scenes for immersion.
It's just amazing, this video is gonna get to 7 digits view number I swear
And there's a hint of a sequel ? 😍
I'm utterly flabbergasted at that intro sequence. 12 minutes of just straight heat, setting up the stage for some good ol' chill Minecraft. Goated production quality, I hope you blow up because this is HELLA underrated man. Looking forward to the rest of the video!

I was going to say this exact thing! I agree with you!
“Detecting multiple Leviathan class life forms in this region. Are you certain whatever you’re doing is worth it?”
I both love and hate that quote, hahaha 😆 Subnautica has a special place in my heart.
Yeah I know what ya mean. I was looking through the comments and didn’t see it so I figured I’d better put it in here just cause of the context of the video. I haven’t seen any of your other stuff but I plan on checkin in out cause this was pretty damn good.
Depends on the leviathan, lol
@@VikingChild208 Is it a reefback... or is it a f****** ghost, lets hope for reefback shall we?
@mechanoids257 yep, lol
That opening sequence alone make me want to watch a TV show about this.😮
Hahaha, maybe one day! 😄
There is a movie called “underwater” the only one I know of that is similar to this-
@wjng8425 There we go! I loved that movie, and my evacuation pods are heavily inspired by the pods from the movie hahaha. There are also some other references to the movie and games like SOMA, Subnautica, and some others! 🙌🙂
I know right? In te meantime why don’t you check out “Pacific Rim”
if you dont mind audiodramas, theres a podcast called Derelict and the first season is underwater. The sound design is incredible!!

For anyone looking for the song at the beginning of the video, it’s: No Matter How Hard We Try, by Moon - Topic
my savior!
I don't think the -Topic part is needed- it's a TH-cam thing made for songs specifically and not the channel that makes them. Y'know?
Those 12 minutes of intro sequence were just the best. Not a lot of ppl even make intro cinematics, let alone 12 minutes of high quality goodness like this and I love it!
wtf how can this level of quality only be seen by 4K viewers? man this video is top notch. I love it

This should be a modpack/map that we can all play. Great video.
The map/biome itself is the Abyssal Chasm from Alex's Caves. Everything but the bases as part of the story spawn there.
Need the armor and sword mod

Man, this was incredible! I didn't feel this way in years, so caught up with the story until the very end, and even after! Amazing job Mike!
Thats an literal Movie! 10/10, absolute great, nice intro sequenz and creative outro sequenz with nice usage of the newspapers!
I clicked thinking I'd be seeing a normal gameplay video. I didn't expect to be hit with such a masterpiece of a cinematic Minecraft world! Definitely gained my heart!
This is so epic man! I'm surprised you don't have more subscribers because this is awesome.
The effort put into this really shines through and its incredible!
Oh my god the sound echoes more when you're on the station vs in the exo suit! Amazing quality! So good!!
dude, i never leave comment but that into was absolutely incredible. i loved your previous video but I think it was criminal to not have that be a full series. you defiantly should think about creating a series man, your views and subs will absolutely skyrocket. cheers homie!
Your channel is gonna explode with this kind of content coming from it
Only 8 minutes in, but the quality I’ve seen is a immediate subscribe. It takes me back to the good ol’ days.
THIS IS SOOO SICK, PLZ MAKE MORE. I absoletly loved all the effects and cut scenes.
You’re videos are awesome and the acting is amazing keep up the great work
12 minutes of intro is WILD (we all loved it)
The intro narration reminds me so much of old games, stuff like Starsiege. Thanks for the nostalgia flashback!
Your intro was simply amazing. But the part that did it for me was the suit up sequence at 15:08 this part in particular did not need to go as hard as it did, well done
This helps me cope with subnautica 2 not being out yet.
Incredible video, was not expecting this level of quality hats of to you my guy
This is a movie! The cinema, the camera work, the drama, the vibes, this is so well done! The into gave me chills!! Can't wait to watch you blow up (like success-wise, NOT an underwater explosion)
Sheeeh! What did I just watch? That intro was fireee! 🔥🔥🔥
17:51 “Warning, leviathan classed predator near your proximity.Extreme caution is advised” We got the Subnautica reference up in here🔥🔥🔥🔥🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
It's not like a reference more of we have the fear of already hearing that from playing subnautica
i Really want to see more of this story. this was so much fun to watch! This is a real Minecraft movie!
The intro (up until the part with the mariana trench base, completely convinced me it could be a movie trailer 💀
o h g o d

That ending recording gave me chills ooo I love stuff like this
This intro is so fire. I would watch an entire movie just like this. this was awesome imagine if they had a bigger bugget.
Hi Mike, im a new subscriber, just wanted to say that your intro had me hooked! truly inspired by your hard work, I love your content already!
I tend to watch minecraft videos at work on silent with captions when not busy, but knew I had to wait to get home to actually watch this with sound
is this a combination of mods like Aquatica, Alex's Caves etc? Either way this is absolutely epic, I LOVE THIS! FINALLY A GOOD LONG MINECRAFT UNDERWATER RUN!
Bro this is crazy I love it and i would love to see you make more like this and even continue this because it's amazing
Loved this video you earned my sub.Looking forward to more.Very entertaining.

A very impressive intro for a minecraft video. Great job dude!
Welcome all to the under 3k subscriber club. This channel is about to blow up.
Wow... another cinematic masterpiece from you after the first one. I can’t wait to see what you’ll make next-
A proud new sub ! Excited to see what comes next ...
This feels like a sequel to Minecraft story mode and I'm all for it this is the best thing I've seen❤
Holy cow you weren't playin' with that intro! Phenomenal work!
This is the first ever Minecraft video that actually caught my eyes. It is epic 11/10 🔥🔥🔥
That intro could be characterized as masterpiece. I honestly wish with all my heart as much as possible people saw this. That's why I watch your's videos.
Thank you for your hard work!
P.S. Actually, it's a shame that no Hollywood studio filmed a movie with that script)
Genuinely an amazing product, you should feel so proud. Outstanding video!
You gotta make cinematic movies with this man!
Welcome back, hope you put this pack out for the public as well
Also, great work with sounds and voice, it was so immersive!
Thanks a lot for the kind words! I spent almost a whole week on the intro alone after I wrote the script hahaha. The modding took me the longest, tho, because I have never made mods before, and it was needed to bring this story to life! 😄🙌
Awesome work! That's a real movie. Great job ! There's so much work and talent in this! Thanks a lot!
I love that ending felt like i was watching a movie instead of a video, do keep up awesome work
This popped up on my feed and it looked intresting to me so I clicked.
