Love that many British people support a charity that every year help a lot of sailors in need !! I live in Denmark, but worked in Bexhill for a year. And for an outsider like me, who lived several country's. My favourites are UK and Finland !!
Fascinating, thank you. As a child growing up in England, every seaside holiday always included a visit to the Lifeboat station. Fond 60 year old memories.
I love this boat😍😍 and the joystick is nice. The-water jet propulsion is really nice and draws less water. I would love to go for a ride in one of these some day.👍😎
jim believe me its a rush better than any roller coaster ride when they throttle up to full power from a standing start my god do you feel the shear power of them as you are pushed back into the seat as the bow lifts right up you feel like it wants to roll over backwards but it wont do that and turning is just as fun though if they start weaving it side to side while at full throttle and max speed you really get to feel how nimble in the water they really are
Hamilton Waterjets,a New Zealand invention,i guess it makes sense seeing these awesome boats go into shallow areas,if i had the money,i would want one of these on my Superyacht, much like the massive tender on the Ulysses Superyacht. :-)
The boat is powered by two diesel engines, not water jets. The water jets are connected to the diesels to provide propulsion. I'm sure someone can give a better explanation.

Thats parenting teaching kids to respect the water.
Money well invested in good quality long lasting boats. I wager they're a blast to run
impressive! God Bless you guys and that boat!
It's a far cry from our Arun 52-09 (still going strong mind you, RNLI know how to make lifeboats)

looking forward to our shannon arriving at dungeness around next july
A brilliant design, obviously informed by many years of operational by RNLI CREWS’ experience.
Verry good lifeboat 👍👍👍
Wonderful boat but is it necessary to have musical accompaniment
super cool!
Why are you not using the Thunderchild?
The what
I know where this is filmed.
A short walk from my future home.

Well.. yeah.
Skegness 2016!
they actually go upto 30knots max speed
Damn that yacht behind him
That would be a Sunseeker Cruiser also built in Poole close to the RNLI HQ
How many times can he say ‘efficient’?
1st Batt QoH 76 5
My company makes the waterjets
Poole -3
Still doesnt beat a "boat" of a Tyne Class. Now there was a boat.
1 pound for every time he said efficient.
Ruairi Daly £5 for you...
or 'actually'.
hmmm its missing a kettle and a toilet..
Atleast there using a nice truck model engine not a man engine
yea and also he needs to practice the interview because of mistakes and also better camera views.
personality flaws due stick up his arse
mat I agree he also stated they only go 25knots but max speed is actually 30+knots
