What a great bunch of Reels . I especially like the early Ocean City and the K Mart which I have began Collecting .
You should collect them. I think I have seven. I am currently restoring a Sportfisher 6100 like the one in this video. If I can ever finish it will be something. My favorite k-mart reels are the Ultra Z reels. - Chris
Same here! I like them too - Thanks Bobby
I enjoyed this Dennis. It is a great video that might lead a few folks to the hobby of reel collecting and restoration. - Chris
I think it will!
Talk about a corporate steal,I did not know the founder of Penn worked for Ocean City....I learn something new each video I watch. Thanks Dennis!
Yup! Otto Henze founded the PENN Fishing Tackle Company in 1932, He previously was employed by Ocean City Fishing reels, also in Philadelphia
Interesting variety - Thank you another interesting video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Any newcomers here? Raise your hand. Who knew you could find fishing reels at Flea Markets!!!! Welcome to the addiction!!!
I've created a monster!
Fun box lot to take home. Most of them look like they have plenty of service left.
I'm certain a lot of them will get a 2nd Chance - Thanks
Those are great finds Dennis! Take care! - Tony
Thanks Tony - Lots of work ahead!
The spinlite looks fun. Please do a video. Thanks!
I will try - Thanks Joyce
a good set of reels to practice repair on
These are good tuition reels to learn from and give a 2nd Chance - Thanks
Great video! I love the Kingfisher and that other large Japanese spinner. It's Mike by the way Dennis .. I dropped off the Mitchell 410 and the Cardinal 4 last week ... I would be interested in purchasing the Jones Beach to actually fish with if your son in law would like to sell it.
Thanks Mike - I will ask
I like the concept of a Tuition Reel. Sounds a lot more affordable than a 68 CHevelle :)
I agree! Of course there could be tuition cars....I guess??
Thank Dennis. I have had to straighten several bails of late, and I never get it right the first time. I'd like to see a video on how you straighten a bail.
Watch this one and see if it can help th-cam.com/video/fLHA0uTXHJQ/w-d-xo.html - Dennis
I bet your son in law is a great guy and treats your daughter like a queen.
I'll bet you are right!
Aah, a possible heir to the dynasty!
Long lve the King! LOL
It could happen!
