I remember being blown away by MEMENTO at the time of its release, and I'm sure it still holds up today. DARK KNIGHT also made me believe I could love reboots.
I have seen many video essays on these three directors and this was the first one in a long time I learned something knew. I feel dumb now but I didn’t notice Nolan used the barrel roll that often!
Favorite Christopher Nolan film?
yes, I love it and I loved your review
Thanks! @@tahghighcenter4085

Funny, for a director whose films really leave me cold, I've seen a lot more of his titles than I'd have guessed.
Batman Trilogy
I’m surprised he didn’t talk about that one shot where he centers the character from the backside looking at something
Great call!
I was expecting to see this one too!
Man, you should mention his other DOP too: Hoyte Van Hoytema

One of my fav director
He puts lot of tubelights or other bulbs in background and blurs them. It looks so good😅
He now works with DP Hoyte van Hoytema, it would be cool to see a Peter Jackson shot breakdown
Good to know! Also fantastic call on Peter Jackson!
Great as always!!
Thanks, Paul!
Do you have Luts for these
Def need to see Andrei Tarkovsky and Anurag Kashyap shots!

Great tips, by the way.
Hahaha! Thanks
@@KellanReck you're welcome 😁👍🏻
He does a lot of following actors entering rooms from behind too
Great video!
nice
Sometimes I wish Christopher Nolan joined Marvel instead of DC. Would love to see what he could do with a film like Doctor Strange
Please, Denis Villenue.
