I rarely ever comment on videos but I had to let you know that I love your videos. Easy to understand with just the right amount of random comedy. Thanks for the great content!

Really useful, Omar. I came here from your Atlantic City video (also really nice shots). I have an iPad, but I don't use Lr, preferring Capture One. I might try C1 on my iPad Air.

Excellent, thank you very much for this very informative and concise video using the iPad Pro to edit photos. I use my iPad Pro all the time. Your simple explanation for creating the "fade" look is very cool and so easy on the iPad. Couldn't wait to try it, so while watching the your video on my iMac, I grabbed my iPad Pro and followed along. Omar, you're my number one go to guy! I couldn't believe when after viewing your street shoot video yesterday that the editing street photos video was already up this morning. Well done! And that is the reason you are my number one go to for all things Fuji and photographically. Thanks again for all you do. Have a great weekend.

I don't own an iPad, but many are looking forward to C1 being on iPad in early 2022.

Always enjoy your videos. They're FUN and I learned a lot. I'm working with a Canon T6, Fuji bridge camera and sometimes a an old Canon point-and-shoot. But when I apply what I've learned from your videos it makes a huge difference in my photography. Making the most out of what I have to work with right!? Thank you.

Omar some great tips thank you. Get it right in the camera and only apply subtle edits, explore the darkness. Your photography is a contrast for me as where you shoot is very different from the welsh mountains where I live. Love your content.

Thanks so much Omar! I do most of my editing on my iPad Pro, and this is the best instructional video I’ve seen. Ok, now off to try my luck (I mean skills)!

Great Video Omar. Like the simple processing of your shot. It was nice to hear that you try to get the photo right as much as you can in camera, before processing on ipad Pro. That's the best tip. Certainly saves time on the computer after. Thanks again

Hey Omar, I am in the market to get an iPad Pro and my 1st iPad. Which screen size did you get? I'm wondering if there is a workflow advantage of 11" vs. 12.9". Otherwise, it seems like a bigger screen is the way to go. Great video! Thanks for helping us amatuer photogs with your best practices. Appreciate you.

06:20 in the raw vs jpeg section, it looks like you are missing a trick. Yes, the raw and jpeg are pretty similar but I think you are importing the files as Adobe default (it's set like this as a default) because the raw is showing Adobe Colour as the profile rather than Provia.
You can tell Lightroom to import files with camera settings, on a computer it's Edit > Preferences > Import to toggle between Adobe Default and Camera Settings (or a preset of your choice if you prefer). On mobile devices it's the Three Dots on the top right > Gear Icon > Settings > Import for the same thing.
edit: oh, and if you are editing an individual image then Presets > Defaults has both Camera Settings and Adobe Default as options.

iPad Pro - not sure about Aple's product names, but the latest Apple CPU "M1" is very powerful and software houses like the Mudbricks are rewriting optimized code for that CPU. The latest iPad Pro versions is based on that M1 but that may be version or display size dependent. Consequently, running Lr and or Ps on that M1 Pro will be pretty powerful (within reason).

Thanks, nice Video. How do you transfer your files? Are they in a cloud and you just downloaded them? Do you transfer your edits/catalogue between Mac and airpad?I only use my PC but have to share it with my husband. So I am thinking about a second device but I am afraid of all this file management stuff since I would like to use both devices.

These I hand picked from my computer (output raw files from LR classic into a folder) then air dropped them to the Files app on the iPad. Another way is to sync LR desktop or a collection in LR classic. Lots of videos out there. Still working on it myself
