Which do you prefer? The Wave or the Charge?
The wave hands down for the money
When you add in the bit set, pocket clip, and better steel, I think the charge+ is the better deal long term.
I wish they made a blacked out version of the TTI and I really wish the Charge had an awl
I had free p4 (420hc steel) tip broke within a week of use. Charge plus tti with s30v is the way to go. Been using charge for 2-3 years with zero problems
What were you doing to break the tip?
@@ashleighgreig6078 Took it fishing. Dropped it on wooden bench, drop was about 10 inches
I hesitate between the two. In France the price difference is too high. (Wave+ = 175$) (Charge+ TTI = 275$)
I'm jealous of the prices you have in the US 😶
Same here in South East Asia. Even preowned ones are expensive but i wonder if it'll be worth it long term
Pretty huge price diff in Canada as well!
@@Kincor Strange how they are about the same price here in Finland as the US.
I have Leatherman wave black finished and like it so much
I have the Wave+ and I love it, but I love the fit and finish on the Charge TTI….weird, I know.
cool vid. thanks for the content
Hi, I prefer the wave, I had mine for about 10 years
I like those two leathermans
My black wave+ has the crimper built into it. Honestly It doesn't work that well and I would rather have the more full and solid plier jaws. I always wondered what that was.... damned thing is in the way and makes the jaw tips break easier.
Charge
I no longer prefer Leatherman since I broke the pliers three times while pulling nails. However, the Victorinox multi-tool has been working much better for some time now and is also of higher quality. I don't see that with the Leatherman products as much as the scissors or pliers are good .Too much money for poor quality!
