  • Finishing up at Seneca Foods; More interaction with the conductor; Back to the yard.
    Plus another look at the Reverser Swap function on the ProtoThrottle - simulating the crew climbing out of one loco and getting in the cab of the other one.
    🎵🎶 Special thanks to Adriel Mourey for the harp music.
    🔊 Thanks to Matty Gunn @mattygunn693 and TrainCrew traincrew.conr... for the real train sounds.

    Another great operating session! It's nice at this speed to pick up the details of everything. I love the power meter towards the beginning of the video.

      Thanks! Yes, good point. No sense adding all those details if they go by so fast you can't see them lol. Oh that meter on the power pole at the crossing? I saw that in a prototype photo, that whole crossing scene is based on that photo. I guess the meter is for the power for the crossing signals. Then there's a wooden battery box for backup power *I think*. Thanks for commenting, take care!

    Very enjoyable video. I like the brakeman/conductor figure on the loco then on the lead car during the shove.!

      Thanks, I just started playing around with the conductor, I like to show how much he has to move around. Lot of work.

    great series, bill !!! i am learning from you.... i needed to go slower !!! even when just switching to kill some time, i run engines way too fast !! watching you creep along prototypically gave me a good slap to the head, which i needed !!! denny

      Thanks Denny! I think going too fast is a big mistake. That and coupling too hard, and driving the car back down the track 50 scale feet 😉. Take care - Bill.

    Is locomotive number 1995 next Southern Railroad unit?

    • @MyFingerLakesRailwayLayout
      @MyFingerLakesRailwayLayout  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, it's a Rapido B36-7 Southern unit. On my layout it's a B23-7, to match the prototype. Thanks for commenting!

    If you would hold the camera still or use image stabilization, the video would be great.

      Checked your channel to see if you do any better. Seems you don't have any content at all. Guess even with the shaky cam, he has better videos.

      My biggest challenge is to hold the camera steady. And I use a gimbal, believe it or not. I'm making a change that should help. And I'm gonna Google how to hold a camera steady. I'm at the point where I can start to blame everything on my age 😎. Seriously though, this is exactly the kind of feedback I need. I really appreciate it. Take care - Bill.
