My favorite bit of this episode was them insinuating that Casey was actually Frank Morris, from the real life Alcatraz escape in 1962. Same character that Clint Eastwood played in the 1979 movie Escape From Alcatraz, based on the real story. I thought it was so fucking cool they did that.

It's all coming together! This episode hints at (possibly) the fact that this is all a loop. Mobius's soft spot for Loki in Season 1 is because despite his mind wipe, a part of him still remembers his life on the timeline and the line about form and function that he told Loki in S1 was because Loki had told it to him in the past. Loki was nice to him and (possibly) was the one who actually recruited Mobius, B15 etc to the TVA. Also, the recap before the episode basically highlighted HWR telling Loki and Sylvie that every step they took was because he paved the road. His see you soon may not have just been him warning of his variants but rather him literally seeing them again soon. Perhaps they're still on that road. Where does that lead them? Back to him.
OMG I LOVE EVERYTHING SO FAR, Loki has become a great character, Tom Hiddleston playing this great character, I don't regret following him since 2013, I LOVE HIM
This is the setup for new Avengers, Loki, the God of stories can travel to anyone who's tempural aura he has interacted with, including Steve, Tony, Bruce, Natasha, etc.

You can say she was the "pioneer" of what the SAF-AFTRA actors strike is about right now. She got bad press and comments from people, but look at what everyone in Hollywood is fighting for now!
This ep made me so happy cuz in the comics over the past few years, Loki has been the God of Stories, so I feel like this might be leading to something like that.

I've watched this episode twice now and I picked up on so many things the second time around and the visual were amazing!!! this show is just WOW!! I am in aw every time I watch this show cannot wait for more

This was probably the biggest character development episode for the series. Seeing other characters lives made me feel the stakes of the whole multiverse💯
Casey is Frank Morris (played by Clint Eastwood in the movie). Him and the Anglin brothers have been CONFIRMED to have escaped and live! Morris may have died, maybe not as he was never heard from again. The Anglin brothers lived out their lives as farmers in a tiny Brazilian town. There have been a few great shows about it. The giveaway was a photo taken in the mid 70's of the brothers to be taken to their Mother to show her they were still alive and well. The FBI matched the photo in their face recognition tech computer and with 98% certainty, it was him! The FBI re-opened the Alcatraz case that was closed in the 60's and it is active. A childhood friend actually found them by happenstance. He was a drug-running pilot. He was making a run in Brazil and he stopped in the tiny bar to get a beer before he had to take off and sitting at the end of the bar were his friends from childhood, the Anglin brothers. He said he told them he knew they made it and he knew how they did it because they would do something similar as kids to get free rides down the river being towed by boats that had no idea they were there. He asked if he could take a picture to take back to their Mother as she was always thinking of them and her mind could be at ease. They said yes, 1 picture.
This explains all the amber monitors and 1990s looking tech in the TVA. That’s OB’s time period. And yes, the omega 13! Because when Loki goes back, there aren’t two lokis. He goes back to where he was and remembers. Just like Tim Allen in Galaxy Quest. I assume this is what happens to these naturally branched (unpruned) “band”. If they go back to the TVA they will remember all of it. Maybe? I’m not sure Sylvie is an earlier Loki. She’s a different Loki, with different experiences from childhood.
Outside of the usual thoughts on the episode, loved how they also brought back the og soundtrack, especially the Season 1 recap theme which was the best one
WIth this season, i rate this as one of my top 5 marvel projects, movie or TV, what i do find interesting is that both Sylvie and Loki find there homes among humans not there own kind.
For me it has been the episode that stands out the most in the performances and being the most human. Before leaving us in the final episode, which I hope will be the most tense. And leaving a great ending for Loki and TVA and their future for the multiverse saga. 👍👍💚💚🔥🔥
This episode was so trippy and emotional, it definitely had me reliving the sadness of Avengers: Infinity War when everyone started becoming threads of time. What If….Kang made an agreement with the Gods not to interfere with humanity and create Nexus events or else, and Odin finally wilfully broke it sending Thor to Earth creating a Nexus event leading to Kang sending the Dark Elves, and initiating Ragnarok. Zeus in sending an unwitting Hercules after Thor is trying to save the agreement by eliminating Thor. It then makes sense that there are so many Loki’s pruned, they keep generating Nexus events, in breach of the agreement.
I may have missed this in the discussion, but what did folks think about Loki's "I'll gut you like a fish Casey" line from ep.1/season 1 & the line from Casey/Frank's escape: "if they catch us theyre going to gut us like fish"? Not a coincidence, right?

I’m back, so in S1 Loki was Cooper a man who disappeared. Now, Casey is Frank one of 3 who escape from Alcatraz and was never seen again. 👍 Clint made a movie about that.

I figured out what they're doing. So this is lokis ragnorak. In the loki mythos, loki breaks free of his prison and causes a huge battle that results in the death of odin and many other and causes the earth to burn. The earth is then washed clean under water and comes back and life is renewed. Loki breaks free of his prison (end game) causes a great battle (season 1) that ends in the death of odin (Kang), then he burns the world (the tva and all reality turning into spaghetti) and now he has to submerge it. Ob is ( the endless cycle of death and rebirth) he's at the death and rebirth of the tva. Loki has now become a cosmic being like the watchers. So this will do two things: reboot the MCU and allow the traditional Avengers to return without breaking the narrative. But it will also be the story from the comics where loki really controlled the universe.
I wonder if this is how we get kang prime he tries to stop the loom but can't and, tries to stop sylvie but allows kang to be alive somehow ? just a little theory

Loki's time slipping was kinda like the TARDIS...it didn't always take him where he WANTED to go, but it took him where he NEEDED to go.
