Me too! I don't know if we'll have extra money in our budget for it so I'm looking for venue's that come with a day of coordinator. If we choose one that doesn't then I'm going to have make so many lists in order for us to remember to set up and tear down everything.

We tell our couples to have fake rings on the pillow and the best man carries the rings! just for that reason. I've seen it happen more times than I care to remember.

The invites included a self addressed stamped envelope and a place on the rsvp for both accepts OR regrets! I mean what more do people fricken need!? Really need to know how to proceed, how to contact best way to address numbers for people who arent getting them in and WHY its so important to do them. The comments about it still being light out so late crack me up. As a native Washingtonian, I didn't realize that it wasn't that way everywhere until I made friends who had moved here from out of state. I forget how far north we are. It makes for beautiful summers and late weddings. Almost every wedding I have been to here includes some kind of guest accommodation because we are out so late partying in the summer time since it doesn't get dark until late.
Do you have any suggestions for floorplan layouts for when the dance floor is directly in front of the head table with where you prefer for the DJ to set up?

I am currently in the process of deciding to have a destination wedding or a local wedding. I have done some research and most of the online content focuses on budgets but I am interested to know if you have any experience on who to invite for destination weddings or really any other perspectives on deciding to do destination or not. There are so many family friends that I want to include but know that large guest count will not fit in my budget. The destination location is so attractive though and I would love to have a wedding there. Thank you so much!

Going to hard book next month in August. I have about 4000 for the entire wedding. It's going to be very small 37 max some may not be able to attend. But I'm seeing everything you're doing and I am so scared! 😱😱 I'm single mom disabled and have never done this before! I'm alsoo walking her down the isle and having mom annd daughter dance. I'm also DIYing mist of the signs tablescapes etc..But I am going to need help on the big day but cannot afford a coordinator. Lowest price I found so far is $800. 😰 heeelp?!

why not have a charger set on the tables and the plates at the buffet? That way you still have something on the table, and the buffet still has the plates?

I have a question I really need some advice on but probably won't be in a video. I don't think anyone in my family or my life besides my fiance knows how estranged I am from my family or how afraid I am they will ruin my day. Can I refuse to invite them so I can enjoy the idea of my wedding if I already feel guilty for not inviting them. My fear is that they will make me miserable after the wedding instead of at the wedding because I didn't invite them.
I'm not saying it in any mean way, just a matter of fact: this wedding is so white. But African American weddings are probably also with mostly African American guests. Y'all gotta get out more and have more diverse friends (personally I feel Canadians are a little better at this 😅) cuz this isn't very representative of what America really is demographically. Mireya Seymour you should make sure what they mean by a day of coordinator. Sometimes venue coordinators aren’t the same as a regular coordinator.

In my family, we never tie the real rings to the ring bearer pillow - they're always fake rings. Probably for this very reason.
