My dream job is to be a wedding planner ! could you make a video on schooling , wedding planning certificate , if college is necessary and how to become a wedding planner ! love you so much !
Can you do a sit down about this same thing but from a vendors point of view? Like what to expect as a vendor, things you should having/bringing with you. Maybe even about the business you get from going to these expos as a vendor?
I attended so many as a vendor the past year and you start to see all the same people. They're just trick or treating to see what free things they can get lol
Not always, my guy and I have gone to multiple for many reasons. At each one we meet new vendors that we didn’t meet at a previous one, and each expo we’ve walked away with new ideas and inspiration that came from something different that wasn’t at a previous expo. One of the vendors that I met from this expo and am booking, was one that was not at the previous 3 that I attended. And like what was mentioned, obviously everything isn’t going to be booked from the one event. But we are definitely chewing down the list in a comfortable non stressed timeframe by going to a handful throughout the year of engagement leading to the wedding. And they’re fun :) Not about the free stuff, however I know I’m not going to be able to take advantage of a discount from every single one of my vendors all at one event. So one at a time at different events is making things doable for us :) Also like someone mentioned, all of the “free” stuff I’ve been offered and raffles I’ve “won” that I’m receiving in my emails, are from vendors that I did not even enter... so like Jamie said only sign up with or enter raffles with vendors we would be interested in booking. But the the event gives our emails to everyone else anyway and then they enter us in raffles and prize drawing that we aren’t interested in? Doesn’t that just waste the vendors time? Like how Jamie said about some of her raffle winners...
@@samanthalouis7725 It sounds like you're going for the right reasons! I'm all for people going to get ideas and actually book and speak with vendors. I was speaking about the people that go for the free food ect. I've literally seen people congregated in the middle of the expo just hanging out with free food and not talking to anyone lol
*** VIDEO REQUEST*** Hello from Brisbane, Australia. If you haven't already can you please make a video in regards to who to sit at what tables during the reception. We have finally made an invite list and are struggling to put together the seating map. Like do our parents sit at the same table? is it ok if they don't? Can you put aunties and uncles all at the same tables and then your cousins together, or keep the parents and their 25+ year old kids together? How the heck does this work!!! PLEASE SEND HELP lol! P.S I love your videos!! I literally recommend you to everyone!! :)
Ok. Wedding photographer here! I love you and your channel. There have been many times I wanted to high five you through my phone (*coughs* vendor meals...*clears throat*) however, I have never wanted to high five you more than now after seeing your stag horn wall. 🌱😱🧡 AHMAYZING!!! Great vid! These expos are brutal :)
Super. Cool! Thanks for the behind the scenes! I live streamed my destination wedding from Costa Rica on Facebook to my friends only. It was awesome and my friends and family that didn’t make it really appreciated it. 😎
Jamieee, where was this video two weeks ago? I went to my first bridal expo and had no idea what I was going in to. It turned out being very fun and I have never felt more like a bride, but definitely overwhelming as well. I personally didnt get much out of it but it was a very fun experience.
Wow! I just did my first wedding expo as a wedding planner here in Spain, and I have to say it is sooooo much fun, but sooooo exhausting! Congrats on an awesome booth! JW Coordination is my inspiration to begin my own wedding planning business! Thanks so much for sharing!
What a great video! Also, Jamie- you’re a babe 🥰 I wish these events were referred to as “Wedding Expos”, not anything specifically bridal. Not all weddings have brides, and many straight couples have grooms who attend these events too! I imagine that might feel quite alienating. Got my cogs turning today 🤔
I just wanted to say that I am a conference planner and I started watching your videos after I proposed to my boyfriend and became engaged. I knew nothing about weddings going into planning my wedding and your videos have been so helpful in me navigating this process. There's a video for every step and I am very grateful!
Went to 2 expos over the past couple weeks-LOVE these tips! In the first expo I was able to connect with a vendor that had DJ, Officiant, and Event Coordinator services (husband/wife duo.) By meeting this vendor in person I was able to get a better idea of who they were and if I would want to work with them. We connected since my wedding is Harry Potter themed, and right away they were on board-they are actually big fans of Harry Potter as well! By that connection I was able to get a even better discount than originally advertised. The second expo was a bust...but I did win 2 raffles that consisted of a gift card and a makeup trial with a potential vendor! 🤩 Overall a great experience, learned a lot about weddings and highly recommend brides to attend.
Could you do a video all about drinks🍻🍻🍻 for brides on a budget. I'd love to know what direction to go in for keeping it affordable and optiond to look into such as kegs vrs bootle for beer. And what types of drinks to include.🤔🤔🤔🍺🍺🍺
I know it's none of my business, but I just wanted to make a small comment. I noticed a lot of your videos, like "10 things your guests DGAF about" or "budgeting tips," don't often indicate in the title that the content is wedding-related (i.e. "your wedding guests," "wedding budget tips"). Your subscribers know you and what kind of great videos you make, but I think if people aren't familiar with you and what you do, they could scroll right past without realizing that your channel has anything to do with wedding planning. Again, it's absolutely none of my business, but I think you might reach a lot more people if your titles better advertised what your videos are all about! I know this one has "Bridal" in the title so it's far more evident, but I just commented on this video because it's the most recent. :) Thanks for the work that you do!
Something else that I experienced at a bridal expo that I didn't hear Jamie mention. I got a TON of texts and phone calls saying that I had "won" something and needed to contact them to claim it. If I recall correctly, every single one of the companies that called me required that I had to travel to a specific location to attend some kind of meeting or had to sit through a presentation for whatever they were selling. So if you're not interested in buy random and expensive pots and pans or sit through a time share presentation in order to get a "free" vacation with really bad or inconvenient travel dates, then maybe it would be ok for you. But it just felt predatory to me. And they would always dance around my questions like "do I have to purchase anything when I come to claim the prize?" You can decline and they'll stop trying to contact you, but just be aware.
Hey could you make a video or do you already have a video of the steps or 'your' steps in how you would organize the wedding planning process. Extremely interested and your videos are by far the most intutive related to the subject on youtube. Thank you! John
I’m getting married next September and your videos have been SO helpful!! We have a longer timeline than most so I feel extra prepared :) I’m also going to an expo this weekend with my MOH so this was cool to see!
My parents went to the expo for me! I’m stationed in Japan so, I wasn’t able to meet you or see any vendors! My fiancé and I are having a Peaky Blinders wedding!
My #1 TIP: Create a separate email dedicated for your wedding and save yourself from all the email you will receive after the Bridal Expo! Best part-- it's FREE! :)
Hello just finished watching your expo video, I was wondering if you will be attending the expo at the Long Beach convention center that will be held on February 9? Really love to stop by and tell you thank you for providing us with such amazing videos that give us a lot of information when it comes to wedding planning do’s and don’ts. I just recently got engaged but We won’t be having our wedding till December 2021 but since I’m planning on only marrying once I would love to have everything as perfect as possible for such a beautiful and memorable moment. Thank You again God bless you and keep doing a really good job.
Hey I’ve been a long time subscriber and I was wondering if you could do some of your old format videos I enjoyed both formats but we have been getting a lot of these more Vlog behind-the-scenes style
I really want to go to an expo but I’m also done with most of my vendors. I have a few things I’m looking for, but I really don’t need to go, more so just curious.
I just went to one over this weekend and I wish I had these tips! I totally signed up for a bunch of giveaways for places I wouldn't book normally. yikes!
So cool to see Amari productions there! I recently watched his video on Safiya Nygaards wedding.
OH HAIIIII!!!!
A Wedding Email is something I encourage all of my couples to do! This video was fantastic for both vendors and couples!
My dream job is to be a wedding planner ! could you make a video on schooling , wedding planning certificate , if college is necessary and how to become a wedding planner ! love you so much !
Anneke Kauppila please!!! I’m super interested too!
Me too !
Same!!!
I went to college for public relations and marketing got my bachelors and now am an events coordinator and do tons of Weddings!

I watched a 5-min commercial for you! :)
If this isn't love I don't know what is.

Doesn't "bridal" mean also "nupcial", as "related to the wedding"?
Carla “bridal: of or concerning a bride or a wedding.” 🤷🏻♀️ when I hear it I definitely think of a woman in a white dress.
Awe love how much Dave has blown up the last couple weeks...and love that you told us about him first! 😉
Jamie has the inside scoop on all things wedding related! You heard it here first.
Especially after Safiya and Tyler's wedding. ❤
Bridal expos sound very overwhelming for myself...but they do sound fun and exciting to get into the fantasy side of bridal plannjng
I’m newly engaged and attending my first expo this Saturday. This video could not have come at a better time, thank you so much for these tips!

At 6:45 - little did we know...
They must have known
Literally Jamie my wedding would NOT look the way it looks now without all of your videos...you have straight up changed my life lol
Also respond to my inquiry I sent through your website if you can😭
Another collaborative video?! YESSSS!

So informative! thank you!!! *planning my 1st expo in a couple weeks. Eeeek! lol thanks!
Jamie you are genius! Your space looks so so pretty. How did you make a brick wall!? Is it wallpaper on plywood?!
Yay! I’m so glad I got to meet you. Love you Jamie, you are a joy! ☀️

It's Heather! Hi Heather! 💜
Recently just discovered your channel and it's been so helpful! Can you make a video about DIY your florals?
What's the song you play at 3:00 ? I'd love to know, thank you!!

So helpful! I definitely thought that lady left her baby in the middle of the expo though lol
It was a quick baby hand off. My husband was right behind me ; )

Why when talking about vendors, why aren’t professional wedding officiants listed?
:o first? also great advice thank you!
Are you attending any in the NY area?
Wedding Expos are a lot of fun, but the big ones are way too overwhelming. The small ones are really nice
I just went to one over this weekend and I wish I had these tips! I totally signed up for a bunch of giveaways for places I wouldn't book normally. yikes!

Did the 2:45 woman just left her baby there????
Her husband took the stroller.. you can see him walking behind them
