    THANK YOU so much for this. I remember once hearing and seeing the Hammonds at an A&P show around 1974-76, and I have been desperately wanting to find out more details. I knew I remembered that they had red hair. The songs that I remember include, Shortening Bread of course, and also When Irish Eyes are Smiling and Jump down Turn around Pick a Bale of Cotton.

    Way too short. I'd love to see a lot more of 40's (maybe earlier) thru present-day NZ music scene video, with nicely-cleaned-up AV, and a non-smarmy, non-square presenter. Perhaps an actual insider like Ray C. or Suzanne. there must be scads of footage in the National Film Archive , TVNZ etc., surely?

      There is,you can order shit load from TVNZ OnDemand.I order most of Top Town from them and also 4 hours of 70s footage film around wellington,and 30 min on the ferrys docum

      Also a friend of my order loads of 50s footage,so i guess you order what from 30 to present
