Hey Troggly! I have a Lefty Ebony 2021 Gibson SG Standard batwing guard and was wondering if it was worth buying a vibrola for the looks or not. I'm a huge fan of the tuning stability of the tunomatic bridge but love the looks of the '64 SG's! Please let me know your thoughts! Also think it would be could be quite unique compared to most players guitars today.
They are pretty rare/uncommon amps from the early/mid 90s.- I stumbled onto this one at an auction - they said it was a 1994. They rarely ever come up for sale and there's not a lot of information on them. They are an 80W solid state Guitar Combo Amplifier. Its a nice amp, but I'm having problems with recording it since its more bassy, so I'm probably going to end up selling it. Great amp to just play through!
The most unnecessary signature model I've ever seen. And the string height is probably set a little higher than normal, because Derek plays so much slide. Didn't you know?
LOL. Now at #$2,300 :). Best Regards!
Thanks for the great review. I have just bought a 2012 model, so this review was a great help. Cheers.
I'm glad it helped! DT SGs are nice guitars! Enjoy it

Why does the truss rod cover not have Trucks' signature on it? Mine does... just model year?
Take a 61 reissue Remove pickgaurd. Boom got your Trucks
Boom…. With nasty screw holes visible on the body.
Hahaha funny so true haha
Wow, that was a beautiful SG! That Gibson Gold amp sounds killer! That's the first I've seen of those. How old is it? What era were they sold?

What makes it the most unnecessary signature model you’ve ever seen tho?
How is it unnecessary? They hand out signature guitars depending on fame.
