Im 16 rn, and I plan on joining the military and getting into investments. After running the numbers ive found i can easily be a multimillionaire. I had the vision to own a private island and this video has been very insightiful and helpful thank you!
The problem I see in buying an island is, what country's bullshit laws would one HAVE obey? I mean if I bought an island, I'd want complete autonomy. If I decide I want to grow whatever I please or fortify it or have my own power source (I.E.., wind / solar / tidal etc) would I run into problems. What about taxes?
Getting an island is one of my dreams! I saw really great tropic islands for cheap. If my biggest dream will ever come true i want to make a little restaurant and drink bar on it and ofc a suvenir shop. The point isnt to get rich just only live from it and always have some saved money. P.s i know my english isnt good (working on it) but wish me luck for it ! If i succed i will invitate u and your family for a week :) I liked ur video it was intresting!
I would buy a cheap island in a non-tropical climate, preferably Ireland in a quiet lake or something. Then I would just take my shakuhachi (Japanese flute), pen + paper, some blankets, a simple tent and some cannabis seeds with me. I would live off canned foods (I don't know about fish as I'm vegan but heck, in a survival situation, who knows. I have no big problem with eating insects though. I have already eaten crickets, mealworms and grasshoppers and would certainly eat them to survive.) I would create a heat source with available lumber from the trees and wild plants on the island and the forests at the land around the island. The lake provides me with fresh water which I boil with the heat and the canned foods (beans, legumes, vegetables, some fruits) provide cheap, fast and easy essential nutrition. The tent protects me from rain and some winds. The blankets make sure I don't freeze at winter and during nights. Wild animals won't be much of a problem except for the occasional mosquito. Ok, you don't have much fresh foods, no electricity, no internet (I don't care about television anyway so that's no problem.), no computer for music production, no stereo/headphones for listening to music, no running water, no sanitation, etc. Basically no western comforts. But what you do get instead is: - peace of mind! - no pressure - no competition - no humanity - complete freedom (police aren't going to take the effort to go and visit your island lol) - no humanity - no dogs barking (QUIET!) - no roads/traffic/air pollution (except for the campfire for heating water, food and yourself) - no light pollution (beautiful night skies!!) - only natural lights - no clocks except for the sun, moon & stars - no burnouts - no generalised anxiety disorder - ... Do I have to say more?! :D
500+ acres Caribbean island for sale. It is undeveloped and just breathtaking, has over two miles of ocean frontage, a harbor, an exotic network of caves and coves, potential for an airstrip, beautiful elevations.
Dude this is so cool, these islands are ACTUALLY AFFORDABLE. I think I would prefer to buy one of these instead of a nice car and be able to say that I have an island!
These are not freehold prices, they are lease hold, you lease it for so many years and when the lease runs out you leave or renew lease and a new price
call me crazy all you want but, i want to get an island to prepare for the apocalypse, zombies, economic crash, you name it i want to be ready, im not looking for a large island that i can't fortify or protect and i want a relatively cheap one, so when i get the money i feel the first island you showed would be great, i dont know why you couldn't cut down the trees or build on any of the islands though, i mean, you did just spend A LOT of your money, im sure they would give your free reign to do almost anything you want construction wise
You really should do your Internet HOMEWORK / Research there are at least 30 different R.E. sites that will sell you Free Hold, Undeveloped Land or Costal & Lake Islands at fair or even Reduced market value, www.caribbeanislandbrokers.com/islands-for-sale , www.vladi-private-islands.de/en/islands-for-sale/usa these are just 2 on over a 1,000 search hit on Google.
And the first one is surrounded by fresh water you might wanna a boat to get resources or you can go fishing it is a pretty big island you might want a quad or vehicle
Well.. what's the definition of 'affordable' these days with regard to the business of acquiring private islands... Sure, Nova Scotia will get you some cheap options, I'd rather work my way up to the Bahamas though. You can buy half of Canada for the price of one of those and it can still be affordable (for Bezos)
I, personnaly, am looking for a nice piece of Finnish land for a few less than 1 million euros, but to whom do we have to speak/adress when we want to buy a piece of land ? Local authority ? Agencies ?
I've always had a dream, to get a large island and build a real Jurassic Park! (Via editing the genomes of lizzards and Crocs cause I hate feathers lol)
He gives the prices of these islands but he doesn't say how big each on is. Some of them may look quite big in the photos he shows but there's no way I would even contact the person selling the island if I knew nothing about the size of it.
not necessarily, you can also read the crime and main stream news of the USA with constant gun shootings and killings, and deem that USA is dangerous. But like every country there is corruption and crime, but Belize is not dangerous, no where near like other central american countries like honduras and mexico, its quite peaceful in comparison
This was one of my earlier videos. I was just using a point and shoot camera. But in my recent vids posted in the past few days you will see I now have a mic and a better camera. Thanks for the advice!
@@calvinraab8798 Have You Been / seen The Islas - between Stockholm Sweden to Åland Islas to Turku Finland ! There is just 3hours of Open Sea - during The 8 Hour voyage ! Look on The Map - Many People There just for The Summer !
wow what a nimrod, yes the land is cheap, but before you race out and buy one, check out the ownerships laws first, and things like can you develop it, or are you paying for tourists natural nature presserve, when you wake up and find a bunch of boats with people and camera's or suba gear, because that is happens if your island is in some area's. and to develop, the cost, to get the material to that island because you wont have the resources needed for everything
Yes, doing research into the property is always a good idea. This video was more for entertainment purposes than an end all be all property recommendation. Thank you for the feedback!
Hahaha I know! I made this video back in high school and didn’t plan on it getting so many views. I promise my more recent videos are better quality haha!
Thank you for the TH-cam advise! I appreciate it! Looking at my analytics I understand how this does hurt my click through rate, which is not good. However it has also brought a lot of new people to my channel. It has over 90,000 views and brings a lot of people to the channel. So I go back and forth. Also the most important thing for me over everything is that my viewers enjoy my content and this is a video that a lot of people enjoy and for me that is more important than anything else. Appreciate the feedback, it means a lot!
