He is one of the most genuine people out there. Too showy? That's called spirit. Jason is an incredible singer and performer because he believes his message.

Daniel Duncan, same here had wonderful conversations with Jason. He has soul, not all ppl can handle their soul with their Jesus. I think I was raised free will baptist, now just Baptist, but I can feel the Soul/Pentecostal in my bones!

It doesn't matter how someone dresses or how they perform. What matters is that they are singing unto the Lord. Then the annointing will be upon them. The fruit is evident everyone is joyfully praising the Lord. Praise pleases the Lord. Jason has passion for the Lord and it shows. It's funny, if people went to a secular concert to see their favorite band, they were never say" too showy". This got me clapping and praising. With a voice like Jason has, he could make much more money doing secular music, but has chosen to use his gift for God and he is such a blessing to the Christian community.

I love to hear Jason sing. He has an anointed voice. The joy of the Lord is our strength. An't no way he is being showy. He just has the joy of the Lord in his life. And when you have joy of the Lord in your life. You have real fun and not fake fun as this world has to give.

Such an anointed ministry from the Crabb family. I have seen Jason minister to people after the concert, and he is so full of Jesus that I could just imagine Him moving among those people. Like another poster, I can just picture Jessy Dixon at the door waiting, and in fact I could almost hear him singing at the end of this song. LOL! ! (Another anointed man of God who is missed.)

The Crabb’s is my family, I adopted them. I went to a Bill Gaither’s concert and I ‘ve met one of them, we took pictures, we laughed, He was so patient with everyone and He was not faking it. I love them!! I
They are sweet people. God has blessed and good to them, and they are using what God gave them for the Glory of God ! I've spoke a few words to both Jason and Aaron after a concert ,they love Jesus ,you can tell, and have sweet spirits!
This style of music isn't for everyone but Jason Crabb is such a genuine and likeable man.
I love this sound and it is so inspiring and calming, this whole family working together is wonderful example of Christian love and they are so talented to boot!

This song is a southern gospel classic.
It has a message of hope for the christian who has found this world a wilderness experience and they're longing to go home and be with Jesus.
Its a message that speaks to the heart encouraging us to look beyond our current circumstances and look toward heaven.
The message gets lost in the hard driving guitar, saxophone and harmonica riffs.
The vocal performance doesn't portray an humble spirit truly homesick for heaven. It seems more show biz than Holy Spirit filled.
If you're a fan of CCM, then this is for you. If you're southern gospel, it bothers you that a Dottie Rambo classic has been given such an almost christian rock arrangement.

The Crabb Family are great, I've always thought Bill Gaither was hung up on himself but watching him in the audiance he really gets into seeing someone else do a great job.
kobra1157 do you realize how many successful Christian artists and groups have made it because Bill Gaither supported them? Jason Crabb is just one of many.
Bill Gaither I'd like the Billy Graham of music. We will never know the impact that this man has made for the kingdom of God through his songs and through his support or artists who have been able to minister to so many people over the years.
He really does so much to showcase every artist he can, and has helped many get their start. The Martin's is just one group he got started, in a long line that now spans decades.

This is one of my fav songs my church sings, and through the fire, and funeral plans,... I love it. I wish my church would make a cd though, bc every song they sing sounds diff than any I can find online. I go to a pentecostal, holy ghost church, and when I say they get into it,...they really get into it! It's much more fast paced usually.

Funny that you thought he was hung up on himself...his bringing such a great variety of musicians and vocal talents together, and incorporating them into The Gaithers Home Coming celebrations and cruises, etc., has always said he was just the opposite. Ernie Haas/Signature Sound, Crabb Family, Michael English, Sandi Patti, he enjoys those he encourages and incorporates into his musical life. That's what has made his music ministry so valuable in my life, anyway. He FEELS it.
